Al's Westward Ho Motel

Room #33 was a little difficult to locate the first time. The desk clerk gave instructions, but I misunderstood and has to do a little searching through the corridors, stairs, and hallways. Not a huge problem, but confusing to my wife at first.

Comfy bed. Very nice linens. Large rooms. Super friendly staff. Well lite property. Cold a/c. Loved having a frig in room. Obviously renovated recently. Very good value!!!! So nice we stayed an extra night. Ice bucket and hair dryer available would have been nice.

The hotel is an easy walk to all the stores! The price was great for the area and the rooms were nice and clean!

This motel is in a fabulous location (right near the W Yellowstone entrance, one block of main street). It feels safe and it was quiet at night. The room was cleaner than I expected for a motel. The check in process was easy and the individual who checked us in was so kind and willing to provide recommendations! It was a good value for West Yellowstone (because everything is overpriced there). Would definitely stay there again and would recommend!

The first night of our stay, there was only one ply of kleenex tissue left in the compartment. There was no microwave. No elevators.

The fact that I got a room and the staff was so helpful as I made and emergency stop and they were able to accommodate me at the last minute. They were kind as I dealt with a great deal of stress. It would have been nice to have had a microwave in the room. When I arrive it was a rain/sleet mix and I had some food but no wheels because my care had broken down and I didn't feel like walking even the short distance to nearby restaurants.

Location very good but everything else not really good. No breakfast,no hair dryer, no microwave and refrigerator.

It was so close to the entrance of west Yellowstone. And a short walk to food and shopping. It was clean and comfortable.

Close to Yellowstone National Park entrance. Met all of our needs.

The only negative I saw was a very large hole in the wall near the couch in the sitting area.

The location was great, within walking distance to shopping and eateries. Located right at the west entrance to Yellowstone Park. We loved the 50’s vibe of the place. Cute room and enough room for two. The bathroom was a bit small. But clean and usable.

The TV broke the 2nd night we were there. We only needed it for the evening.

We stayed here on our last trip three years ago, so we knew what to expect. Not the classiest place in town but it is in a great location for access to the town's shops and restaurants. Also, one has quick access onto the road into Yellowstone without queueing through town. Rooms a bit dated but the bed is comfortable and the linen clean. Rooms need an update. No coffee machine. One is supposed to get free coffee at the garage on the corner, but it only opens at 8:00 am.

Overall condition is quite old. the room is quite cold.

Prices are kind of steep, but you're paying for the location.

Not the most comfortable bed. The fridge kept making popping noises. They could have had a few more items to accommodate the guests, like a microwave for example.
