The hotel and rooms were very clean and inviting. We stayed with 3 small children after attending their first concert. We got up the next morning and put on our bathing suits to hit the pool. We proceeded to walk through the lobby past 2 workers who saw us in our suits and said good morning. When we got into the pool area, the lifeguard promptly appeared and stated the pool was closed due to the insertion of multiple chemicals. When we asked how long before we could use the pool, the lifeguard stated “a few hours.” We walked back to our room with 3 very disappointed kids, again walking through the lobby area. I tried to move past it, but the more I thought about it, the more upset I became. I booked this hotel specifically because it had an indoor pool. This was supposed to be a special weekend for my kids and I had to spend all day re-explaining to my 4 year old that we couldn’t swim because the pool was closed. This is poor judgment/business as typically places like this should put in the chemicals at night when the pool is officially closed. I did go up to the desk to explain my disappointment to the 2 workers at the desk. Both of them stated they had no idea the pool was closed. One of them was extremely apologetic and offered some complementary snacks for my kids while the other one seemed annoyed and said they didn’t know and there was nothing that could be done about it. A hotel that offers a pool should really be open on a Saturday morning. We left disappointed.

I like the property. It was well maintained. It’s no renovated. The beds are very comfortable. Just one thing when I reserved. It was included the breakfast. Then when I went there they said it’s not included and they have to pay for three persons. This is the only thing that I didn’t like because it was $200 for a night so I was expected breakfast as it says in a site

Very good

Great stay at The Double tree. Pool was nice and the staff were friendly.

The cleanliness was excellent and the bed was great for sleeping. However, the birds in the trees outside our window woke us up every morning at 4:30 am. That's mother nature and not something the hotel could do anything about. For the amount we were paying, the bathroom was very small.

But the property was so clean and new

Property was horrible. Felt like you were on a bad spring break. Horrible trashy crowd. Was embarrassed for my daughters to even see it. Pool was crowded and had hair all in the water and dirt. That was on top of the alcoholics that were in the pool. We were there an hour before checking out and booking a room for a cheaper price at Disney's All Star sport!

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable but bathrooms very small
-
The beds were clean and perfect. It was clean ish... but I feel like our room at least needed a deep clean. There were many hand prints everywhere, toothpaste splatters on walls, coffee splatters... like nothing crazy... and the grout in rhe shower needs a scrubbing... But overall the most important felt clean and safe.

This hotel is really great. I always stay here and feel very comfortable and the service is great.

The mattress was old or cheap because it felt indented when I woke up the next morning and caused my back to hurt. The AC unit in the room also kept making a loud noise every few minutes- like clockwork, so I kept having to turn it off after a few minutes. Especially at night so I could sleep. I didn't use any of the amenities as I had business in the area and just needed a place to sleep for two nights. It was difficult getting someone on the phone when I called to inform the hotel that I'd be checking in late (the phone rang for a long time). Prior to that, I tried messaging the hotel on the app to inform them, but no one ever answered... I wouldn't recommend it.

Friendly, speedy check in - and the cookie was a nice touch!

Breakfast at $19.25 w/tax per person for a total of near $40 per day that was no better than many lower price hotel's within 10 miles that included breakfast at no additional cost was a turnoff.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and always had a positive experience. They recently replaced the heating/AC units and they’re having some issues with that but I’m confident that they will be resolved. They were very responsive to my issue in my room and move me to another room.
