Hilton Garden Inn Westbury

First day, no water for maintenance going on. Had no conditioner or shampoo and asked for it to be replaced during cleaning and never got done even thought front desk said it would be done. During breakfast, a staff member treated us with a bad attitude just for asking for chocolate and where to make it. Asked in Spanish thinking she spoke Spanish and with anger answered us that she dont speak Spanish. We informed front desk the situation that just occurred. Cleaning lady on our checkout day was very helpful and sweet.

Muy limpio, todo nuevo, ellos ya no tenían el tipo de habitación que reservamos así es que nos hicieron un upgrade gratuito. Excelente servicio, la comida del bar excelente, buenos precios, sirven mucho y el bar tender dio un excelente servicio. Definitivamente regresaré.

From check in to check out, this is not what’s expected of the Hilton chain. Front desk check-in had us waiting for over 20 minutes without even acknowledging us with eye contact let alone greeting. The property is run down - 1 of 2 elevators wasn’t in service. Floors were scuffed and not cleaned. The clientele are not travelers but rather locals wanting a place for whatever reason (use your imagination). This is what I’d expect to find at a lesser chain and not a Hilton. Most shockingly was it was $372 a night - where you can pay $40

My go to place when I’m in Long Island. Has everything I need to feel safe and comfortable.

The hotel was very expensive, I was expecting better services. We had to pay for breakfast. So many restaurants, we had options. The best Thing was I had a crib for the baby. I would not go back to that hotel. I was expecting more for the price.

The room rate was expensive for what you get. The hotel lobby was nice. After check in they sent a text asking how everything was going and if we needed anything. I did not reply but should have let them know that the room had a musty/moldy smell. Rooms were dated. Also we were getting in late each evening and the door lobby door remained unlocked, you did not need to use the key pad and there was not a person at the front desk to monitor the door. But the beds were comfortable and the linen was clean.

I was to stay 2nights but had to leave at 6am of the second day because of bugs in the room. MY wife could not sleep and insisted on checking out a once, even though the room was prepaid and we had to check into the Hampton Inn in Rockville Center at an much higher room rate.

Television kept on freezing. The guide information was wrong. Pillows were flat.
