Bldg is a lottle rundown. It was clean but rooms and bathrooms need modernizing.

My first night I awoke to a crackling sound. Upon opening my eyes I saw sparks flying. I immediately jumped up when smoke started spewing out of the phone charger. Luckily I did not have my phone on it. I also noticed a burn mark on the cushioned wall behind the nightstand. I located where the charger was plugged in and unplugged it. I informed the front desk of this event at 4 am and a sleepy voice said no one was available in maintenance until the morning. In the morning I spoke to the front desk again and they said someone would be there by noon. I was on my way out to an event. I know someone came as it was plugged back in when I returned. I did not hear what was done to resolve the issue so I immediately unplugged the charger and had a somewhat restless night before checking out in the morning.

Wonderful place to stay as a Long Island or who moved out of state the hotel gave me comfort and a sense of Home. Staff was amazing. Room was beautiful. Great place to stay. I’ll stay here again.

The staff were very welcoming and eager to assist with requests. The room was truly very clean and I was impressed by the attention to detail throughout our stay. Parking was plentiful and the hotel is located in a quiet spot. We didn’t brine or stop at the bar but it was nice knowing it was there for us. Recommend it!

Clean, friendly staff but older hotel for sure. Pricey considering the old essence of the hotel, def could use updating. The bathroom shower curtain did have a old moldy smell which stunk up the whole bathroom.

Close to where we needed to be We had three rooms, one for 90 year old mom. Were there for funeral, elevator broke. Mom on third floor, had no way to get her to room. We had to switch rooms ( I was on first floor). Loud music playing outside past 1am. Nobody to checkout with.

the coffee maker in my room it was unable to pour the coffee

Our stay was excellent very clean and accommodating. The only thing was the hold they put on card it has been over a week and the hold is still on my card . I don’t like chasing people .
