Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Wichita

The facilities were in good condition in terms of comfort and functionality, but unfortunately, the room, bathroom, and kitchen area were full of dead cockroaches and crickets. No matter how comfortable the place was, all those bugs made us feel very uncomfortable during our stay.

The room was clean overall; however, there was a significant lack of decent maintenance. There are patches on the walls, a peeling ceiling, uneven lightbulbs, and colored bathroom walls splashed with human blood or fecal residue. Aldo the staff is very nice welcoming and friendly, this issues dont help the place feel completely pleasant staying. Landscaping is very neglected, with overgrown bushes extending to the sidewalks, and building exteriors need repairs as part of exterior maintenance. I think the place could be a much better place to stay; it has the layout to be, but the lack of these little issues doesn't speak very well. You guys are better than that

Terribly maintained property. The floors were coming apart. Looked like burn holes in multiple places in the room. There was no anything in the kitchen. plates, silverware pans, nothing. The room smelled like smoke. There were holes in the walls and the curtains.

Staff was amazing. Pool and grounds layout was amazing! The unit was a little run down but worked for what we needed

I did not like that there was no cookware, dishes, flatware etc. We stayed here because their website flat out says there is kitchen ware. We had to go out and buy cookware, plates, silverware....basically everything. Any value of having a full kitchen went down the drain. I'm on the road 5 days a week and the property I'm at now not only has a fully stocked kitchen but they have almost anything you can think of available for their guest to borrow. Overall, the kitchen issue was a big let down.

The suite was very large, basically a 2 bedroom apartment. Comfortable bed, it was clean and close to the pool. I did not like that there was no cookware, dishes, flatware etc. We stayed here because their website flat out says there is kitchen ware. Unfortunately, they have a full kitchen, but no utensils any pots or pans to cook with. They also don’t have any glassware. First night I killed a bug on my bed. Second night a spider. 4th night a German cockroach. I also had little flying insects for the first 4 days. I think no seeums. Kept getting little bites. The property looks old and dilapidated. I was alone this stay. Visiting my aunt. If I came with my family. I would have changed to a different hotel.

I don’t not like how extremely broken everything was in my room. I didn’t enjoy how the shower sprayed water on my head and not my body. I didn’t enjoy one night of sleep because the air conditioner rattled every time it kicked on and my bed was broken.

The room was clean & spacious but it looked outdated. The carpet looked dirty although very well vacuumed. Water pressure on shower was great. And lastly we really appreciated that the front desk let us stay an extra hour.
