Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms and public areas were spotless and very clean. The rooms were very quiet even on a busy Saturday night with a wedding reception at the hotel and the Wilkes-Barre marathon happening a block away. Comfortable mattresses. The decor is a bit dated and the rooms are small. However, those things were minor and did not take away from enjoying our trip.

I can't say enough about this hotel. Even though it's an older property, it's very well maintained and the rooms are more comfortable than many of the newer hotels. The breakfast crew does an outstanding job in the beautiful dining room, with freshly prepared hot breakfast food and a large variety of options for dietary needs. The staff (shoutout to Chris) was super accommodating, welcoming and on top of everything. I just don't experience this kind of service elsewhere, so it is a place I'll keep going back to when I'm in the area. They know the meaning of hospitality!
