Courtyard by Marriott Wilmington Downtown

Very poorly trained and this made our stay difficult

Overpriced breakfast and parking. We stayed there for two nights, but our room was not made after the first night. The bathroom handle was broken and the ice machine didn't work.

terrible time with room keys - had to wait forever to get key reset . Billing issue a problem

Great location. Elevators could use a refurbish.

Breakfast menu was - there. Didn’t use it although available for purchase.

The staff was amazing

Only one room was ready at 9 pm the second not til 10 pm. It was a real hardship with two elderly parents and two children to have to wait while the clean rooms to order. Not your typical Marriott stay at all and I am loyal to them. I will say the gentleman on the desk that night was trying his best to accommodate not only me but other guests. It’s a shame they do t set staff up for success with those conditions! I will not stay there again.

There was no complementary breakfast, parking only in a garage in a separate building, and upon entering my room, the shower did not work! The staff 1st said, they didn't have any rooms avaliable, but they did send someone up and he told us he will get us another room and came through. It was very inconvenient for the time we had arrived, but at the end, the gentleman came through. Overall, I won't stay here again! The rooms were clean, very updated but the location is not cool.

Tv did not work the entire stay hotel has new system that is still trying to charge my credit card

The air conditioner would not turn off. We had to unplug the device.

The woman working the front desk was very very nice and welcoming

What a disaster. Worst ever. I show up and they somehow gave my room away, with no rooms available and no explanation available either. To top things off, the front desk girl and her manger are rude and unsympathetic. Not even a polite apology. Just stared at me expressionless. Really odd vibe. Have stayed at many Courtyards before and they’re generally clean and well kept, but this one looked like a complete dump outside and in the lobby. The fact that I never made it to the room might have even been a blessing in disguise? Anyway, avoid this specific hotel.

Breakfast (which was NOT included in the stay) was the best part of it. Very good scrambled eggs, toast and sausage. Otherwise the 1 + hour wait for room check-in was more than anyone 84 years old!! should have to endure at 10 pm at night. I will never forget the miserable check-in service I received last night and will never reserve at a Courtyard Marriott again!!!!!!!! Check-in staff was abominable. Ground floor facilities inadequate.

The staff was very friendly. There was no breakfast available because of renovation. This was disappointing because it was suppose to be included. The parking was not connected to hotel. Was not aware i would have to pay for parking each day.

The Check in Mgr when we arrived was amazing. We had a couple glitches but he was very accommodating and made everything work. Hats off to great customer service.

The room was clean I was charged by booking.com and the hotel and I haven't heard a response on why I can't get my money back from either place.. very unprofessional

Staff was amazing. Older hotel that is updating which is great. Simply not there yet.

It was okay. I probably would not stay there again.
