Staybridge Suites Wilmington Downtown by IHG

Me and my 2 boys were able to stay comfortably in the 2 bed with 1 pullout suite. There was a kitchenette with all kitchen items needed, which was awesome. The staff was very friendly, always saying hello and have a good day. When we 1st got there I was hicked about the parking price but there was always available street parking. If you worked it right, you may not have to pay much. The only thing I would recommend is to have a normal size trash can in the rooms where you can cook instead if the bathroom sized cans. I was told there should have been an extra big one under the sink, but it was another small one. Overall this was a great stay!

The only thing missing were maybe some sweet treats in the store to purchase since there really weren’t any places around to get a snack without getting back in the car and

The BLUEBERRY SCONES for breakfast were so tasty! Very spacious and comfortable suite, views slightly marred by a very tall building! Staff were so helpful and friendly (especially Tracey). Great location for what we needed and parking was managed with the “on street” parking - just got to keep an eye on your timings Not much not to like

It was the best part of our trip. The city of Wilmington was dull, deserted and extremely boring))))

Staff was very helpful and breakfast was very good. You have to pay for parking, $24 per 24 hours, or park on the street. Note it's located in downtown Wilmington, which, at least when we stayed there, is deserted at night. There aren't a ton of food choices in the vicinity.

Breakfast didn’t start until later than we’d like but otherwise nice, spacious room.

When we reported the incident, the manager suggested that we must not have closed the door properly, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. They also implied that “not enough time had passed” for a theft to occur — an assumption that did nothing to address the seriousness of the situation. We asked for the key‑log records for our room, but instead of showing them to us, staff simply stated that only guest passes were used. Without transparency, it was impossible to feel reassured or confident in their explanation. Police report was filed. Overall, the lack of accountability and the way the situation was handled left us very disappointed. Security and honesty should be a priority for any hotel, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
