Kimpton Cardinal Hotel by IHG

Overall, good experience. A few elevators were down for needed repairs. Front desk staff member seemed annoyed to be there and was not welcoming during check-in, but valet staff were excellent! Room was well kept, bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfy. I’d give it a 7/10.

Always a 10/10 when I come here. The food the decor the comfort and did I mention the food. It’s love away from home.

Expedia quoted a price of $40.00 more, nightly, for an extra Guest. The Bill charged $430.00! I would like to know why there is such a large, disparity. The Valet Service was not good, additional, training, will be beneficial. I would stay, again, if the, additional, $430.00 is adjusted to the advertised price on Expedia.

The hotel is located in a between downtown area with a lot of restaurants in walking distance to choice from. When we arrived valet was awesome and the hotel lobby was beautiful. They did have to change our room due to some small issues that were addressed immediately. The recreation area was so nice and the kids had so much bowling. We ate at Mellow Mushroom which was about 3 blocks up and it was worth every bite 10/10

We didn’t use any of the exercise equipment, so we can’t comment on that We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant very much. We took our dinners in the bar area. The food was outstanding, as were the bartenders and wait staff. We’ve stayed at the Kimpton hotel in Seattle and enjoyed those stays. The Cardinal fully met the expectations we had, based on our stays their Seattle facility. We live nearby your hotel in Palm Springs. Although we personally haven’t a need to stay there, we’ll be recommending the Kimpton Rowan to friends and family visiting us. The only negative thing we experienced was the shower. The faucet for the shower was directly opposite the shower head. The placement of the shower door made entering the shower somewhat awkward, evidenced when the water was turned on. We were hit by cold water until the hot water arrived.

Clean room!! Staff & bar was attentive with a great selection of beverages and food!

The 1st day the housecleaning did not replenish my washcloths and left 1 wet one in the shower. The staff at the front were very helpful and nice. Dinner was very good at Katherines.

Excellent hotel in Downtown Winston Salem. Rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and bar! We will definitely be back when in the area.

Love this boutique, well located small cozy hotel. The restaurant and bar is fantastic. The views from several rooms are less to be desired however the rooms themselves are sizable with great bathrooms.

Iconic building and well run. VERY convenient and free parking in the deck behind the hotel. It was the second time I was in a handicapped room. Those rooms are not proportional. And the shower does not drain well. Water is an inch deep the next day. Provide a sqeegee

We stayed here once years ago and were happy to have another great experience this time! The amenities, game room, staff and happy hour are all fantastic and the art deco decor is really unique. The restaurant was very good and the rooms are clean and spacious. We would definitely recommend!
