My Place Hotel - Wixom/Novi/Detroit, MI

Overall it was clean, quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located. Kitchenette was great and loved having an ice maker in the room!

First of all I want to say I stayed at this hotel about a year and a half ago and the room I had done was good that's why I returned. I was greeted by wonderful staff given all the information I needed and the key to my room at that point there was an odor in there with the continuing smell of cigarettes I sat down in the recliner and I noticed the whole entire recliner had poke holes in it and I know exactly what that's from it was from cats I reported this after a couple hours to the front desk I had to do some running around and came back and notified them I was immediately switched to another room on the first floor which was fine I then got in the room and the cigarette smell was still there I'm sure people smoke in there that they don't know of but it's disgusting that made my stay very unpleasant I was trying to get away for a few days by myself and thought I could finally relax. I ended up leaving a day early and let them know why in addition to it being very loud doors slamming throughout the night You could hear people talking in the other rooms it wasn't what I thought it was going to be very disappointed. I did explain this too a gentleman at the front desk he gave me a card with the manager's name on it and said he would forward these concerns to her. I will never stay here again

Overall a nice room. The smell was not great— smelled much like pets.

Rooms were clean beds were comfortable and parking was easy.

My favorite place to stay for sure. So clean, and I love having free coffee that is always hot early in the morning.

This is the second time I've stayed here. The property seems worse for the wear in that time. It's still clean, comfortable and spacious for a hotel room. But you can tell there are a few things kind of worn. They offer morning coffee but no breakfast. There are fast-food places on this exit but not many (any?) sit-down places.

the room was a bit dirty with dog hair and smelled like dog. the front staff girl was nice on check in but went to go get snacks later in the night and a man came out and didn’t know how to “work the computer” to make the sale so i wasn’t able to buy anything…

The room was nice but ir definitely wasn't worth almost $200 for the night. Should be the same rate as during the week. Price

Great staff. Fairly quiet. Easy parking

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The complimentary coffee and tea were very good too. What was disappointing was that while the room includes a stove, no cooking supplies are included. I didn’t read the faq’s where it does suggest bringing your own, but I’d recommend putting it perhaps in brackets beside the amenities offered on the main page to ensure clarity. Other than that the photos are accurate and the price was competitive making it a worthwhile stay.

Good location, clean, comfortable.

Only problem is that there is no drinking water on site. No water fountain. Only option is to buy water from outside or purchase at the front desk. Tap water is not recommended.
