Holiday Inn Express Boston North-Woburn by IHG

Only (slight) complaints are that road noise is present on the front side of the hotel, and that plain eggs & potatoes were not an option Sunday morning (they were on Saturday).

I only stayed 1 nights but I can say the staff is very nice specially at the breakfast.

We made a reservation to go to a Drs appt in Boston area. Unfortunately the reservation was made for the next day by mistake. The hotel had available rooms and could have accommodate us but they wanted to charge us an additional $100!! We had paid $160 already and they were not willing to honor our reservation and give us a room since we already paid for a night. This is very bad business and for travelers it is a nightmare! We lost the $160. and left to find another accomodations.

The staff was very helpful. The breakfast had lots of choices and tasted good. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The elevator was dated and a bit iffy. There was a smell of old cigarettes in the hall but our room was fine. It is located by several good restaurants. It was great for our one night stay.

Renovation was going on so a few inconvenience.

A l'arrivée nous avons eu une chambre avec une odeur nauséabonde. Rapidement nous avons eu une nouvelle chambre. Le déjeuner inclu est correct. Je recommande pour le prix et l'emplacement.

Clean room. No curtains or blinds. They never finished the room after remodel. House keeping came in room at 730 am to clean unannounced while we were still sleeping. Do not rely on breakfast its not well maintained rotten fruit and messy.

Clean room and very comfortable beds. Great breakfast.

There was no pool as it was filled in with pipes and dry wall. The gym was useless as both of the treadmills did not work. Multiple nights where we called the front desk because other rooms were screaming and yelling at 3 AM.

It was fine - except the bathroom. You couldn't open the door all the way - the door hits the toilet on the way to the wall. Makes a simple thing a hassle.

Everything was good !

Clean room. Good breakfast. Clean public areas. Decent parking. Close to down town if you have a car.

Nothing specific about the property that I can say was outstanding. Room does smell and I couldn't open window. probably older construction. Carpet was under replacement so lobby was filled with odor and dust. Good breakfast, and sufficient parking.

I checked in only to go to my room and someone else was in it. I originally booked a king bed for 1 night 1 person. I did not get a king bed and like I said when I got to my room there was a sign on the door that said not ready yet and I could hear the TV blasting. I went to the front desk and the staff couldn't believe it so he called up to the room sure enough someone else was in it. How does a hotel not know if someone is in the room. Obviously someone didn't do their job. Because an employee should have noticed the room wasn't ready and had been rented to someone else. I've worked in hotels for years never checked someone in a room that was already rented out. Also the bed in my new room was absolutely horrible my back, neck and hips were killing me the next day. I will stay somewhere else for my next trip which will be in a few weeks.

The room and staff were great but I was charged 275 for a 175.00 rate Still no return email regarding this, has been 2 weeks, beware!!!
