Hampton Inn Reading/Wyomissing

I stayed for one night. The room was clean, relatively modern and staff were courteous. I would stay there again.

The staff was not friendly. The TV was at the side of the room instead of in front of the bed. The faucet in the bathroom was at the side instead of being in the back of the sink. It was room 335. I truly do not know if I will stay there again!

Very clean. The housekeeping staff was refreshingly social and very kind. The rooms and all facilities were very clean and comfortable. Liz served us with grace at breakfast and was exceptionally friendly. The afternoon hosts, William and his colleague (with long hair pulled into a pony tail) handled a computer crisis with professionalism and managed a difficult situation with calmness and accommodation.

Easy check in. Staff members were great. Good breakfast and easy parking. Close proximity to the baseball stadium.

This is our go to hotel because it is close to where mom stays and everything is close by. Plenty of parking and parking is complimentary with your stay. They have included breakfast but we don't usually take advantage of that. We either have to be up and out or relaxing until we have to get done what we came for. The staff are usually welcoming and pleasant. They text you to make sure check in was good, if there is anything you find that you need and to let you know that if you need anything to don't hesitate to let them know. The rooms are usually clean, the bed is comfortable and I love that they have a blanket either in the closet or basket for you to use if needed. There are things that need fixing up in the bathroom, grout, tiling, cracks. They need to get some of that done otherwise the hotel is very nice and we look forward to staying there every time we come. They have lotion in the bathroom for you and in the lobby they have different types of coffee vats out for your convenience all times a day. They have a pool that's bigger than most but we usually don't get to use it. This hotel is very convenient for us for why we are in Reading so we will continue to use this hotel for as long as we need to.

One of the two elevators was out of service. I did not consider this acceptable for the rate paid to stay at this hotel. Also, the entrance to the hotel is a little steep for longer vehicles or trailers and there were many drag marks in the roadway.

Location, price, quiet. No hot tub in the pool area, stain on carpet.
