MainStay Suites North - Central York

During her stay, she discovered bedbugs in her room. While the hotel did move her to another room, that was the extent of the support provided. There was no manager on site to address the situation, no one followed up to check on her well-being, and no apology was offered for what is a very stressful experience. As her manager, I attempted to contact the hotel to discuss the situation. I was informed that no manager was on site and was told to call back on Thursday. It's disappointing that such a significant guest issue couldn't be addressed promptly by management. Bedbugs can happen at any hotel, but what truly matters is how management responds. In this case, the lack of communication, empathy, accountability, and management presence was far more concerning than the incident itself. I hope the hotel improves both its response procedures and its customer service so future guests receive the support and care they deserve when unexpected issues arise.

Hotel wasn't bad. The room was kind of misleading... cabinet door wasn't on. Brand new microwave not hooked up so they have a $20 walmart microwave chilling in the room. But other than that, room wasnt bad. Breakfast was well... not really worth it. 3 different cereals were stale. Milk wasnt cold. They ran out of waffle mix an hour before breakfast ended, wasn't refilled. Two days in a row it was just bacon crumbs. Overall subpar for breakfast.

When we arrived, we can't find a single person at the desk. I been look around and yell hello, hello, no one come. I call the front desk number 2 times then a man appear. The wall is very thin. We can hear people talking from the next room clearly. The breakfast area is too small not much of seat for the guests in that morning. The breakfast not much of an option. Everything else are great the room were clean and roomy.

The room was huge and clean. You did not get housekeeping unless you asked for it ( a good thing). If you needed extra towels, toilet paper, etc. you could ask at the front desk and they would hand it to you. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Other guests were nice.

The cupboard next to our door was broken and we had to watch our heads because it was in the way of the door. No one was there at check out except the breakfast lady who couldn't help us get a receipt. The fridge was also not anchored and came out each time we opened it's door.

The beds were comfortable. Good location near the highway, gas and food. Guest next to me had a cat hey claimed was a service dog, cried for hours and front desk did nothing to make it right or to get the owner of the animal back quicker. They did not care!! Walls are very thin, I would never stay here again.

One of the highlights was the breakfast. It was delicious, and we loved that the menu offered a nice variety instead of the same options every day. It made each morning feel special. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it also included a kitchen, which was an added bonus and made our stay even more convenient. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, great food, and thoughtful amenities made this a very enjoyable experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting York, Pennsylvania!

I think quiet hours should be enforced for the comfort of all guests.

The location was very convenient and close to tons of stores in nearby necessities. The hotel was very clean. Staff was very attentive and nice and respectful.

Previously when I stayed here I was pleased. This time I was highly disappointed. There was food in the sink drainer. The entry light and light on the wall next to the thermostat were burnt out. The microwave had a lit up caution saying filter needed changed. Plus on Saturday night there was a huge party in the lobby still going on at 10 p.m. I was told it would end soon. They went out in front of the building and were extremely loud still after11pm. I went down to say something to the front desk and they said they were aware. I think quiet hours should be enforced for the comfort of all guests.
