Most of the Staff were amicable, courteous and helpful. The first was pretty clean and nice. The second room had a balcony which was great to have but the bathroom had a bathtub that had chipping paint and the bathtub wall was flat paint fall off. My Mom had to clean the bathroom better and there is rust on the towel rack. She disinfected to her liking. But it's quiet. There's a lot of parking. Some of the stairway entrances smell like animals but at least the People don't bother.

everything was but the appearance outside was terrible.
-
Door inside was taped shut. Tape around sliding glass door.

Water was cold when we got there, it was like a horror movie scene. Worst hotel I been too. It was trash than thy had the nerve to have a restaurant inside.
-
The desk staff were really nice. It was really run down, the ice machines were all broken, and the hallways and stairs were really dirty.

We arrived and there were three Police cars in the parking lot talking with people. Several people & boxes were around the entrance door to the room. It appeared they were just hanging outside and smoking. A very uncomfortable arrival and not sure it was a safe place to stay. We canceled the room & requested a refund from the Front Desk.

The staff was kind and helpful. The motel was quiet and relaxing. No complaint from me

BEWARE: This is a hotel that truthfully should be condemned. It is dirty, rundown, and reeked of everything from cats to gerbils. The front desk receptionist Michelle was rude and there was tons of people just hanging outside. Save your self the time and trouble and just avoid this place at all costs.

It was so nice and peaceful

Checked in went to the room had cockroaches smashed on the wall and smelled like death. Went to front desk to get refund only allowed one night refund wasn’t even there five minutes. Plus they have people living there with dogs barking constantly

It was clean. The Pool

Spider webs in the room and on balcony.

The property was horizontally loooong. Stayed in a renovated room nearest to the new reception desk where the Indian restaurant is located all the way in to the end of banquet hall. You will have to drive all the way to the end of the property to check in. The master bedroom was spacious with and there was an extra room partitioned by a curtain with a fridge, microwave and an extra bed. I couldn’t find a switch to turn the light on for that room but I just needed to microwave my leftover nun for 30sec it wasn’t a big of a deal.

Nothing at all!!!! Do Not stay here!!!! It was absolutely horrible. From the smells to the cleanliness and the infestation of roaches crawling everywhere. Worst stay experience of my life. If your thinking about staying here read all the reviews and think again.

Room was freezing which is great when 90 plus degrees quiet outside and inside we stayed right near entrance and near the pool and still really quiet only knock refrigerator didn’t work we didn’t need it anyway and the tub needs to be replaced in bathroom as cracks were evident oh tv picture was bad (but we really didn’t watch much) overall no would stay there again price wasn’t bad

Pool was decent and surprisingly clean considering literally every single room had some combination of roach, bed bug, and other vermin infestation Told the front desk I needed a room change due to bed bug infestation; they said they couldn’t accommodate my request because literally no room in the entire hotel could be guaranteed to have been spared from the infestation.

I like the Inn at York... The rooms are lovely, the pool is nice. Restaurant on site and a diner just down the hill are handy. The new lobby is lovely. I don't understand how they can call themselves handicap accessible and not pay attention to the customer request for first floor (as they have no elevator). Thankfully, I am not in a wheelchair, so I was able to get up the stairs - with difficulty! This, of course, made my visit less enjoyable. And I don't think they have any accessible showers either. I have stayed here a couple of times, as it is a good value, and I don't mind the long-term guests, who can be seen hanging about from time to time. But if I have to carry my bags up and down, I might just have to go elsewhere the next time I visit my son! There's also a smell in the hallway (not in the rooms)... It smells like a gross chemical carpet cleaner (??) Maybe they can remedy that.

Good location.Clean room. Great a/C but uncontrollable. Exterior doors with inoperable safety/ locks to minimize night access by other than legitimate occupants. In general, outside of building and walkways in poot ondition. Good room for the price if you are willing to overlook the shortcomings.
