Inn at York

one thing- there was no portable refrigerator, which i could have used. overall good experience, though

We have stayed at the Inn at York for almost 5 weeks, From 6/27/2026 paying cash weekly. Our current situation has brought us to a horrible discovery after switching from 2 buildings in which We had no problems to the WORST BUiLDING AND ROOM @ The Inn at York. This room has BEDBUGS, which Staff and Management refuse to give us our Money back or switch our rooms due to spreading of the pest from their room! I have spoken to the morning Manager at the Inn and even took the BEDBUG that I caught on my bed after being bitten to them in a medicine vial. I didn't take any pictures or videos but I did try to be discreet and cordial so as not to cause a ruckus. The Manager went in with me and told the front desk daytime/Morning shift person to call Pest Control and have them clean and disinfect the room. Well, I left my Adult Son at the room to handle the situation because I stepped out. NOTHING was handled or accomplished that day. Then I traveled out of State for 2 days Thursday and Friday 7/24&25/2026 and again nothing

The fact that I wrote a review ahead of this one and got a response from the GM saying how sorry they were for my experience. Then that was it. No refund no let me make it right, what kind of crap is that. My stay was awful to the point of not staying there past check out and checking into a hotel 45 minutes away judt to make sure I wasn't near that place again. People who reserve a room at this place be warned its gross, is loud, its full of pets, hair, dirt, bugs and I wouldn't let my kids walk without shoes on, thats how nasty it was. I stayed a week because I had no choice money wise, but I should have saved my money and slept in my car instead. How gross and how unprofessional of the Gm to just say sorry and they take complaints seriously. If that were the case they would be in contact with me. .I havent heard a word , an email, a phone call nothing. So they obviously dont care.

Our in-room refrigerator was not cold, and there was no coffee maker in the room. The presence of people living at the hotel made the place chaotic and unsafe (doors left open all night).

If you like feeling dirty and gross the minute you walk through the door to a place then this place is for you. This is a place I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to stay. It smells terrible in every single hallway. Its filthy dirty and not taken care of. I found a roach in my room on 2 separate occasions. The room I checked into wasn't cleaned, I cleaned it myself and if you saw the towel when I was done you would not bother coming to stay here. The pool is even worse. They dont use chemicals properly and both my boys eneded up having a burning rash develop from it. I WOULD RATHER SLEEP OUTSIDE ON THE GROUND !!!

The room was clean.It was pet friendly and the staff was nice.It was a pleasant stay

The experience was horrifying. The front desk guy called the police for no reason. He was a total jerk. The cops came and told us that We hadn't paid for our stay which was a lie. We were just trying to pay through the Hotel app for the next two days when The Police showed at our door. My Mom wasn't fully dressed and they told her to wrap a towel around instead of allowing her to get dressed properly. They told us to sign a waiver to search the room. They did and found really nothing. My Mom was so embarrassed and nervous. Mom even called my Lawyer because of this whole situation.

Most of the Staff were amicable, courteous and helpful. The first was pretty clean and nice. The second room had a balcony which was great to have but the bathroom had a bathtub that had chipping paint and the bathtub wall was flat paint fall off. My Mom had to clean the bathroom better and there is rust on the towel rack. She disinfected to her liking. But it's quiet. There's a lot of parking. Some of the stairway entrances smell like animals but at least the People don't bother.

Water was cold when we got there, it was like a horror movie scene. Worst hotel I been too. It was trash than thy had the nerve to have a restaurant inside.

We arrived and there were three Police cars in the parking lot talking with people. Several people & boxes were around the entrance door to the room. It appeared they were just hanging outside and smoking. A very uncomfortable arrival and not sure it was a safe place to stay. We canceled the room & requested a refund from the Front Desk.

The staff was kind and helpful.The motel was quiet and relaxing.No complaint from me

BEWARE: This is a hotel that truthfully should be condemned. It is dirty, rundown, and reeked of everything from cats to gerbils. The front desk receptionist Michelle was rude and there was tons of people just hanging outside. Save your self the time and trouble and just avoid this place at all costs.

Checked in went to the room had cockroaches smashed on the wall and smelled like death. Went to front desk to get refund only allowed one night refund wasn’t even there five minutes. Plus they have people living there with dogs barking constantly
