Holiday Inn Express & Suites Allen Park by IHG

Breakfast was bland, we had an ant infestation, no room to switch us to, the remedy was raid and sorry. No comp no discount. Because I booked through a third party, but I swiped my debit there for payment plus 100.00 incident fee witch will be returned at a later date.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing along with the breakfast would definitely stay again only down side was there was someone food left in our fridge upon check in

No coffee maker in the room. This is a deal breaker for me. If I knew that I wouldn’t have booked this hotel. Other than that I don’t have any complaints.

I used my credit card for check in and a couple hours go by it was random charges on my card.

Nice room and even the breakfast was good.

Cleanliness, location.

The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff and shuttle were friendly and prompt. Our room was comfortable and ready ahead of check in. We were appreciative of an early check in after an early morning flight. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Upon checking in, I felt rushed and that staff didn’t take the time to explain the deposit amount. I was just asked for my Id and payment form. I had to ask another person about the deposit after looking at my bank statement. I was expecting a deposit just wasn’t sure of the amount, but also expected the hotel staff to go over that with me at checkin. My room didn’t get cleaned until about 3pm, it was being cleaned when I got back to the room. Other than that everything was okay.

I was very disappointed to walk in and unpack and see how gross the shower was. It was either mold or needed renovated. Either way, I felt it was disgusting. It really set the vibe for the whole stay. It made me wonder what else was not cleaned properly.

Clean room

The location was close to our destination. The breakfast was very good and our room and the common areas were clean. I wish the lighting in the bathroom would have been brighter. It was VERY dim.

The room was very clean, the breakfast was very good, the coffee was excellent (freshly ground beans and brewed coffee made by the cup).

Tv in room 1 did not work properly with the picture so I switched rooms and 2nd room was a handicap room where everything was lower to the ground and I am 6’3 tall. No other single rooms available
