Allen Park Motor Lodge

Nothing Big gaps under and over the door allowing rodents and bugs to enter. Other residents were very loud all night. Unable to sleep. Loud noise coming from refrigerator

I found the jacuzzi suite to be a great deal for the area. 15 mins from downtown, private hot tub, king size bed, clean, comfortable, for under $200. I wasn't sure if it was going to be gross or dangerous based on how affordable it was, but it was neither, and we had a wonderful time. Very glad we didn't drop $300-400 for a cookie cutter room in a hotel that didn't have a private jacuzzi downtown. The chords for pulling the blinds were sticky and it is on a very busy road, so if street noise is a concern for you, that may be an issue. We both wear ear plugs when we sleep, anyway.

Who finds it necessary to scream obscenities for hours overnight in a Motel parking lot ? There’s no way that I was the only guest being kept awake through out the night .

Not a fancy place, but clean beds and bathrooms. Staff is over-and-above kind and helpful, they were the best part of the stay. They have a 24hr snack room that is the best I've ever had at any hotel, and their prices are cheap! Great location too, close to stores and restaurants, easy drive to downtown. Overall easy, cheap, clean place in a decent location. Can't beat this place.

The Motor Lodge is an old lodging but has been kept up to date. Only coffee available in the morning but many places to eat nearby. Everything in the room worked properly and the location is very good and convenient to I-75 which is close by.

The staff is like a family and very helpful.... In spite of its overall presentation, i felt very safe. I credit the staff for that.

Great affordable place. Only 20 min to Comerica Park. Front staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We asked for a ground level room and they had one. He even offered us an inside entrance instead of an outside entrance so it would be more quiet. We took the outside entrance and yes you do get noise from the busy street but nothing the fan or air didn’t help with. Water pressure wasn’t the greatest but for the job done. Would I stay again? Absolutely. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

It was decent but my neighbors were way too loud talking and laughing. It was not restful because it’s too close to the freeway like right nx door. Don’t recommend at all unless you’re a heavy sleeper. It was definitely get what you pay for.
