Allen Park Motor Lodge

This place is great!!! Highly recommend!!! The staff is amazing. It’s clean. If we are ever back in the area, we will be staying there again!

For the price you cannot beat this place. Comfy bed. Clean room. Snack selection is bigger than most gas stations.

Check in was quick. The staff were polite and professional. The room was clean.

Nothing Dangerous people, drug deals in parking lot, no maid service, no coffee, no breakfast

We had an issue with younger children in the room next to us making a lot of noise. We were hoping by 10pm the parents would have made them be quiet. By 11pm nothing had changed. I went to lobby and Shawn came up to our room and understood the problem and gave us a different room that was very nice and away from the noise. Shawn was extremely apologetic and professional. That was a great feeling to know that the staff understood our issue. I would stay again at this Motel, but will always make sure I am not put in a room next to children.

A/C even on low so loud my wife and I could not sleep. Will not stay there again.

I liked the price. It felt safe. The little shop was great. I liked that the front had somebody 24/7. I had a maintenance issue that the staff resolved for me fairly quickly. The furniture is a little worn out, it’s not a fancy place to stay but the bed was comfortable and there were no bugs. I had to dock a point because even though my room was non-smoking, it smelled of smoke and all my things had to be laundered thoroughly once I got home because it all smelled like smoke. The location is nice, parking was easy. I’d definitely stay here again if not for the cigarette smell.

We had another great stay at Allen Park Motor Lodge. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and they were able to accommodate us for an additional night at the last minute. We will definitely be staying here again for Movement Festival 2026!

Property is not grand in its presentation but good location for food and things to do! The staff is great always friendly and helpful! The cleaning staff is detailed and friendly as well! The bed were comfy and they have a great snacks in the lobby. No curtains on the windows only pull down shades. Sun comes on at butt crack of dawn. Wish there were more window coverings. Bed can be inconsistent with softness. Last time we stay our bed was comfy but hard. This time it was nice and soft and super comfy. No second lock on hotel door. Only handle lock

The place was clean. The bathroom was nice. The room was large, so we had plenty of room to move around. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for the money we paid. The road noise was a little loud. There was a half inch gap below the door.

The room itself was tidy and well-maintained The soundproofing is very poor. I could hear everything, and it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. People staying at the hotel, including the staff, were loud all night shouting and using foul language. I kept waking up because of the constant noise and screaming. It was a very disruptive experience

The Allen Park Motor Lodge is showing it's age, but it met my needs as a comfortable place to stay for a couple of weeks while I moved into a new apartment.
