Quality Inn & Suites Ames Conference Center Near ISU Campus

Location was ok, room was spacious No coffee machine in facilities, poor breakfast options. It was far better when I visited 3 years ago.

Location was good Bathroom was gross and dirty.

Staff was helpful. The 1st room was filthy. Lots of cobwebs and carpet was very dirty. Mold on the nightstand and window. Overall very bad room. We switched and the 2nd room was a little cleaner.

Facility needs to be updated. It was the most tired facility that I have stayed in many years.

Make sure to do your research, even though the description says "Near ISU campus" it is right off the freeway and quite from where you need to be. Nothing has been updated in quite some time. Staff was very friendly checking in, definitely nothing to do with them. Our bathroom was so dirty, and my husband couldn't fit in the weird shower. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel.

Breakfast for the two mornings we were there was very disappointing. Biscuits & gravy on both mornings had just 1 biscuit and a couple spoonfuls of gravy. No cartons of milk were offered….a carafe of skim milk was provided near the dry cereals. On the second morning the coffee machine had an “out of order” sign on it. There was a waffle maker, toaster, small muffins, & yogurt. This was the worst buffet breakfast we have ever experienced. We will be in this area many times in the future, but will never stay at this hotel again, due to the poor breakfast.

Location Pool was cold. Hairdryer didn’t work. Poor lighting.

Cons: Musty smell in the room, dead bugs in the window crevice, checkout took longer than expected no one behind front desk, the hotel entrances had room key security locks but did not work so it was just come and go as you please. Overall is a good place to stay one night, a clean bed is all I really care about and they provided that. They need to touch up the window crevices as dead bugs are not very slightly. Check in was easy, check out was tough. They just need more staff to watch that front desk. It’s worth it for the price. Overall okay experience.

Rom decent.. location was good Jacuzzi didn't work, wouldn't issue a refund of some of the room rate.. breakfast was horrible biscuits and gravy and waffles. Looked really gross.. won't be back

Was right off the interstate. 4 blocks from the Wolfe Eye Clinic. Pizza Ranch just a block away.

The mattress was wonderful. I had a very nice sleep.

The room was very nice except for the big coffee stain on the floor by the refrigerator.

Clean rooms , only complaints were no jacuzzi & pool deep end is only 3'9" other than that excellent prices . Good breakfast .

Most of the building, rooms, not well maintained. Breakfast was minimal, eat somewhere else…. The staff looked stressed out, exactly what you see when ownership could care less. Stay somewhere else.
