We had a non-smoking room, but it was obvious from the moment we walked into our room that the person who stayed there before us smoked. The hotel is not kept up well at all. Which I realize can sometimes be difficult in a college town. However, there are still standards that can be maintained. Our room floor was sticky. The entire first floor wreaked of weed one of the nights we were there. If you are desperate for a hotel room in order to go to a Michigan game, then stay here. But be ok with throwing over $$$ away on a totally run down hotel room. I would have rather slept in my car.

It was quiet

The room was clean.. no extra towels or staff. A diverse group of people using the hotel. Gameday people and semi permanent residents … quiet area and never felt unsafe. Served the purpose for two nights while going to a football game but nothing over the top. Nice location.

Extended Stay America is a solid 3-star property. The property is clean and safe and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful in providing local guidance about Ann Arbor interests. This is a "no frills" hotel, with down level furniture and functional, but shoddy repairs but if you're just interested in basic comfort and being close to University of Michigan, the hotel delivers.

It was OK not great but not terrible. I would stay there again. It’s not bad no breakfast though.

Asked for a king bed. Was told they had no king beds at the hotel. Poorly lit outside. Would not recommend this hotel.

We did not like the fact that when we got to the 2nd floor it smelled like rotten fish, we walked into our room, and we found pubic hair all in the drawers, the toilet paper holder fell off. One of the drawers were broken. Carpet didn't make me feel comfortable.\n To take my socks off, it was gross. The stove looked like somebody made Pizza and nobody came and cleaned it up. We found somebody else's key card. So we know that the room was not clean. There was no sheets on the bed, just the cover protector for the bed, which was stained with. We don't know what\n Everything was sticky to the touch.\n They said they offered snacks. We found no snack machine.

Liked the convenience of location only.. very unclean room, cobwebs, stained carpets, broken furniture, noisy freight trains that SHOOK entire hotel three times.

didn't realize it was a kitchenette. It was also loud you could hear the people upstairs in your room walking around above you.

When we entered the rooms, the bed sheets were dirty. The microwave in the kitchen was also dirty, and the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke even though the hotel is supposed to be smoke-free and smoking is prohibited.

The room smelled weird, there was ants (managed). I did not like the price for that kind of room.

Terrible room, dirty! Food splattered on walls, my flip flops actually stuck to the floor when I walked near garbage can in room....garbage can that was supposed to be in bathroom. Smelled like weed. We had to ask for a blanket! Nice staff...bad hotel!

Room was not prepared in time. And not cleaned. No sheets or blanket for pull out bed. Floor was dirty and sofa bed had garbage in the bed

The room was disgusting and smelled bad. When we got in the room, the oven was on.
