Sonesta ES Suites Ann Arbor

We needed to bring our dog with us on this trip, so this was one of the only available hotels. The pictures online do NOT look anything like what the place really is....it is run down, outdated, and honestly we just wanted to wake up and leave as quickly as possible.

nice place The people above me smelled up the place with weed, played music, and fought/yelled well past 2:00 in the morning.

Location was great Too much construction is happening during our stay in our building.

room itself was a nice setup 2 bedroom loft, full kitchen dishwasher, fridge, but starting to show its age, door difficult to open, locked heater was open (dangerous for little kids) nothing to prevent a kid from jumping from second floor loft breakfast served until “9” every morning we arrived before 9 to find not enough, breakfast remaining, consisting of water and, packaged cereal, burnt eggs, dried potatoes cubes, and bacon. “covid” prevents breakfast from being served is being used as an excuse not to provide actual breakfast. no fruit, no juice, no tea, same thing each day.

This place is old appliances are rusted out half clean smelled like wet dog, and poor plumbing I didn't like the smell off the room linen look stained and dingy I checked out immediately

Location First night...no hot water...cold shower...they said they would adjust my bill and they didnt...thermostats default to 66...woke up cold middle of each night

much more comfortable than a normal hotel room. Very comfortable bed. Separate bed and living area. main floor. bathroom could use an update.

Spacious room with equipped kitchenette, large fridge and dining area with bar stools. Sofa double bed. Good location off the main street. Bathroom was small and could barely close the door. Breakfast was very limited. Kitchenette not well-appointed, coffee machine was not clean and no baking tray/dish provided.

The room was nice and comfortable The front desk lady was rude when we checked out. We waited to check out and no one showed up. I called to advise and after 4 attempts the clerk that answered told me there is always someone at the front desk and I didn't need to return keys or call. The dog areas weren't clean either.

very convenient location upper level bedroom isn’t safe for kids… kids may easily jump off the bed down to lower level

Location was great and close to all other hotels. Easy in and out of facilities. Property was outdated but mostly unclean. We had to switch first room assigned because closet full length mirror was broken and we were traveling with a small child. Cobwebs were visibly present in all corners, we couldn’t air out the funky smell in the common living room area because one of the screens was broken and we had several flies come in. Carpet needed a vacuum, which you can request, but it should’ve been clean at the onset.

Convenient to the location. Bed was comfortable Front staff was kind and personable, housekeeping left much to be desired. Had to go to the front desk on three different occasions. Sheets for the pull out sofa were dirty and rolled up in a ball in the cupboard, no shower gel, no remote for the TV, fireplace in room was filled with previous stays dirty ashes. At the end of a 5 Hour drive and a long day, these little things make a difference. Would not stay here again.

Lots of closet space, dishwasher worked well. Soap provided. Only two of each type of dish/cup- there were 3 of us. Fitness center had nice equipment, Had a very comfortable bed and pillows. Good dry cereal selection but no milk Only burnt scrambled eggs (same every day), oven cooked potato cubes and super crisp super thin bacon. No bread or butter or jelly. One pot of coffee- no sugar alternative. No cleaning supplies in fitness center.

Soacious rooms with good kitchen facilities. Nice breakfast Room was quite chilly during the night, heating was a bit noisy when it came on

Layout and privacy.is nice. Close to our meeting places. Kitchenette is handy and helpful. The couch is cold and uncomfortable. Vinyl couches belong in houses of Ill repute.. not hotels.

Convenient location , size and amenities of the unit. Toilet leaked and tank refilled every 5 minutes. I reported it twice and it wasn¿t repaired. Ran out of body wash and conditioner, I reported it twice and they were not refilled. Only had 4 hangers for three closets. Caulk around tub was moldy

location, comfort, good shower with hot water, comfortable bed, new furniture. kitchen poorly outfitted, TV reception poor and very few channel.
