Hilton Garden Inn Ann Arbor

Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were nice. We picked the hotel because we wanted a hotel with an in house restaurant so that we wouldn’t have to leave again. Nothing was said at check in about the restaurant being closed that evening but when we went down for dinner there was a sign on the bar indicating it would not be open that night.

I was disappointed with breakfast and food was overcooked.

The pool signs did say "pool and spa this way" so I was hoping there was a hot tub or sauna for adults, but it was just the pool for the kids. Breakfast is not included, I believe the cost was $20 for a cold buffet or $30 for hot, or something like $18 for you to make a custom order. Personally, especially with kids and having a kids pool, I would have much preferred a continental breakfast, even just donuts or cold cereal options but the food did look good. They also had a little store area with a nice selection of snacks. Overall, I would stay here again if I had kids that wanted to play in the pool.

Very convenient and clean

The Front desk staff member was less than welcoming, especially compared to all other Hilton Hotels we have enjoyed. He was hunched over a nearby bar counter and wondered over after we arrived at a vacant check-in desk, then muttered an unenthusiastic welcome. The same experience with him at checkout. Otherwise, the hotel was very good.

Amazing staff

The hotel was beautiful and clean. They appear to be doing some renovations but there is no bother from them. Large tarps near elevators. I would gladly stay again.

Everything was good.

The hotel was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and everything was as should be expected.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with check-in. Nothing was explained to me, and I felt it difficult to find things that I needed due to the renovations that’s been taken place if I would’ve had prior knowledge to the renovations being in place at the checkout process, it would’ve been less stressful.

The checkout lady on the day I was leaving was so cold and rude zero personality. Customer Service is not a good job for her.

We had a great time. I do feel like the pool area needs to be better maintained and the flooring is way too slippery when wet, which is always around a pool. I saw multiple people slip while just walking, including myself and daughter. Aside from that, we had a great visit for my daughters birthday.
