Good location , clean

Good hotel! Clean and lots of free parking! Quiet and very clean. Just needs a bit of updating..

Clean rooms and well maintain property. The front desk is nice. The breakfast is good as well. Perfect for the weekend getaway or overnight stay

Pool was amazing! We were upgraded to an executive king and put in a room that had an old bathroom: tub didn’t drain, toilet rocked, soap dispenser broke and so did the AC! We woke to a puddle of water by the bathroom and water dripping from the ceiling. We were moved over an hour later and given one free drink as compensation! I requested an extra hour check-out instead and the woman who said yes didn’t put it in the computer for the morning staff to see. They did honor it.

Clean staff was awesome

They were extremely nice they even offered us a complimentary drink when we checked in. Hotel was beautiful, and clean highly recommend!! Would definitely book again !

Very good location and clean and safe

I was rather disappointed in this hotel. For the price I paid to stay you would have thought it would be a magical retreat. We were on the third floor where you could see all the piping as the ceiling was torn apart as well as a fragrant smell of mildew and a pot on the floor. We booked this hotel as it stated a 3 minute walk to U of M stadium while in fact it was a 47 minute walk. To me the halls looked dingy. It really topped our night off when we ordered pizza and we were not notified of a drop off and there was no concierge around to inform us so our food, as well as someone else’s, was cold. Next morning, we decided to try the breakfast buffet which was a 45 dollar bill for something most hotels throw in at no charge.

nice long pool and gym, suite level is best. food was gross and front desk gave us wrong information on hours for breakfast and that pretty much ruined our day. will go back, but carpets need to be cleaned and needs to be updated, but it's the best of the area.

Built in the 1960s, low ceilings in rooms, ac not the best.

Paid a premium rate due to an event in town. Not sure the normal rate would be worth the value. Stayed on the 3 floor and there was a weird smell along with claustrophobic 7 ft ceilings in the hallways. Room was clean and fine but bathroom seemed very dated. Good proximity to Michigan stadium but otherwise nothing special. Would not likely choose again if had other options available

The Kensington is a nice hotel in a great part of Ann Arbor. Location-wise, you are close to the stadium and within walking distance of Briarwood Mall with restaurants, shopping, and a grocery market. There is also a nice restaurant and bar in the hotel. The lobby and ground floor have nice sitting areas for meeting up or working. Parking and shuttle service to downtown Ann Arbor are also nearby. The rooms are pretty up-to-date—the bathrooms could use a slight update (things were a bit worn). Nice, open rooms with good AC and pretty quiet. And, good value!

The room is always clean and staff wonderful.

Air condition fan needs service, very loud and noisy!

Everything was amazing. Room was clean. Hotel was beautiful. The only disappointment is the restaurant was supposed to be open until 11pm and we went to the bar at 10:30 and they had closed a half hour early. They did have other options at the front desk store so we were not horribly inconvenienced. We were otherwise very impressed.

Great out of town hotel, close all the UMich sites and with a good bus connection into Ann Arbor.
