Sonesta Simply Suites Detroit Ann Arbor

Everything was amazing

Hotel looked clean but certainly didn't smell clean. I thought I went back in time and was living in the dorms again.....smelled like ramen and was very loud. Had to double up on the edibles to get any sleep.

Very good

Room was very clean and spacious. Nice kitchen area and large desk. Convenient location, close to shopping and fairly close to U of M. Bed was uncomfortable and noise traveled easily in the hotel.

Unfortunately the room had a lingering oder. It didn't feel clean.

It was close to the U of M campus. Very low value. The cost was too much for the quality of hotel. The room was dirty, and the whole hall of our room smelled bad. The dishwasher had a green sludge and all the dishes were dirty (probably connected). The bathroom fan made a screaming sound. Unfortunately, there was not a separate switch for the light and fan, so we had the choice of waking everyone up or stumbling around the bathroom in the dark when using the bathroom at night.

The room was very clean. The kitchen did not have anything to cook on stove and very limited dishes. Worked out fine for our stay but if you wanted to cook anything bring your own. Would also be nice to have a comfortable chair in room beside a desk chair.

Everyting was good. They are pet friendly, kind

The room was spacious and clean. The front desk areas seemed obscure and nondescript. The desk person wasn't present when we arrived- there were other people waiting to check in. When the clerk arrived, everyone was handled but it didn't feel welcoming.

Room was bigger and cleaner than expected. Very comfortable

Room was clean, only thing I would add is USB plugs and maybe an alarm clock. Given this hotel is geared to business travellers, USB plugs would be useful.

The stove access The air and heat vent smell funky when turned on but that was the only issue

Mildew on theceiling

Exceptional

I have a comfortable couple of nights here. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The man at the front desk was friendly and courteous. Would definitely stay here again. A small thing was that the switch for the shower did not work correctly, so only about half the water came through the shower head. Still was ok.

excellent

Sonesta was comfortable and clean. We had to quickly find a place to stay the following night, and found it easy to book online. Nice staff and a great price. We’ll be back next time we visit Ann Arbor.

Unfortunately we never made it to the room.Bad planning on my part. My electric car I should have called to see if you guys had a EV port

Superb

Good experience. However for the price I did expect a little more amenities.
