Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Appleton Airport - Fox River Mall Area

I was using the bathroom until I saw a small German cockroach in the bathtub. It wasn't that active, this was late afternoon. I didn't get a video but we killed it and flushed it down the drain. I became riddled with anxiety! I don't believe changing rooms would've made a difference because once you see one, the entire facility us infested. I found traces of black peppered looking poop under the sink. This is notably German cockroach poop and I found two dead roaches. This is a sign there's an active infestation and the facility has already treated the building and the bait is working. Which is why I didn't change room... and the entire room was clean. No other sign of roaches anywhere else or for the rest of my stay at least. Breakfast was good! I enjoyed it.

Clean property

The bathroom floor was sopping wet when we got there. We contacted the office and they came and dried it with towels. When we flush the toilet, it did not work. The manager was contacted and he said.” turn the water on the toilet on..” this indicated to me that they knew there was a problem in that room yet rented that room out. Since the motel was full, there was nowhere else to put us. We were not offered any compensation for this and we’re stuck there because there was nowhere else to go. I would not recommend this motel.

The outside of the hotel and the main lobby were nice. The room was a nice size and the location was great. Decent breakfast. Front desk worked was really nice. My room was on the 3rd floor and the hallways smelled weird and my bathroom smelled like urine.

Nice hotel, close to the mall.

The staff was friendly and they were accommodating to the group we traveled in with. We were in town for a basketball tournament and we got there a little later in the evening. The facilities were clean and this is one of the nicer hotels we've stayed at and we were very happy with this stay! We stayed for less then 12 hours due to the arrival time and departure time, so for us it was a bit expensive for a quick night sleep and a quick swim.

Very welcoming property. Easy access to everything in the area.

Convenient to the Fox River Mall and the airport.

The location and breakfast is great!! The pool area smelled really bad of chlorine.

Everything was top notch and the staff were even better!! 11/10!!

I would give this hotel 5 stars if it wasn’t for the bed and the AC having a tough time cooling the room. First, when we got to the room it was 78°. It took over 5 hours to cool a small room. Then overnight it wouldn’t stay on. I finally had to set it to 60 so it would keep the room cool. Second, the bed is quite hard. Not the most comfortable for me. Anyway, the pool and hot tub were amazing. The staff is absolutely fantastic. Very friendly. The property and Rooms are very clean. Lots of options for breakfast. The location was perfect. Close to the downtown area and several breweries and next door to the mall. I would stay here again.

Everything was very nice, room was clean and staff were wonderful.

Staff was great. Convenient location. Toilet lever was broke and I had asked for extra towels and didn’t get them. The beds could be softer. It was very quiet and the blackout shades were great.

Definitely an old hotel they renovated the outside but inside was not as nice as expected. Also had a big on the floor as we left for the airport early in the morning. Didn’t get a great look with just the dim lamp on and it moving quickly. I think it was a roach but my husband said not.

Fine place to sleep before an early flight.
