Quite, clean, friendly

Free parking, excellent location within Ballston metro station walking distance. Great buffet breakfast with major selection (cereals, fruit, bread, muffins, English muffins, eggs, meat or potatoes, juices, water, milk, yogurt, butter, honey, condiments, syrups, oatmeal, brown sugar packets, and more...even strawberry flavored batter for Belgian waffles, & plain. Nice & respectful staff, shuttle (on the hour only) to & from metro timely, room didn't have fridge so I called & set up, wall mounted squeeze bottle lotion, shampoo, conditioner, plus bar soap, & hair dryer, good water pressure, lemon water, coffees, tea, SF cocoa, area map, tour brochures, & restaurant cards in lobby, TV in dining seating area, and temperatures good for all. No early or late check in/out (to the minute) or charged $35 more as stated & as far as we experienced. Family friendly, felt safe, black out curtains, USB ports, not noisy where our room was at least, and checked all the boxes. Kudos to the staff who make this all happen!

Great price with free breakfast

Parking is a nightmare and dangerous. Breakfast area is too small for the amount of people. Best thing was the staff

Clean room, good WiFi and a very simple, but okay breakfast. (Wish they had healthy options like yogurt or fresh fruit.)

Not the first time I stayed here. The rooms (sheets, floors, bathrooms) are always clean and the staff is always friendly. I checked in super late off delayed flights both times I stayed and had no problem getting the front desk to check me in early so I wouldn't lose my room. Breakfast is always really good as well. The only issue I had (minor) is that there's not always someone at the desk and sometimes it takes a while for them to arrive. When you check in late, I know staff is going to be at a minimum, but even if they're not going to stand at the desk the entire time, someone should be close enough that you don't have to wait several minutes to check in because no one is there and there's no way to call them.

Was pleasantly surprised that the beds, towels and room were clean everyday. Only con was I made my reservation thru Expedia and wanted to cut my 5 day stay by one day. Talk to Expedia and they said they could not do it but would call the hotel which they did while I stood by the front desk with the manager.. the manager was unwilling to cut a day from my reservation. In the past they did when I had to cut short my stay but not this time.

Stay was good was going to plan to stay here again untill I woke up and found a cockroach on the wall in the shower! When I went downstairs to the front desk to show them and ask for help or my money back I was told my room was prepaid and all she can say was sorry! That is wrong and so disgusting wont be back untill they make it right

Bathroom tub was dirty and had 2 black strikes. The parking is horrible and cars get hit all the time, very difficult. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Parking is free but it is limited so heads up, particularly if you own a bigger vehicle

Pleasantly surprised. Hotel was wonderful. Location good, shuttle available to take you to metro. We had a car, parking free and a nice typical hotel breakfast. All included in price of stay. Room was clean! and spacious, good air conditioning! front desk staff welcoming and friendly. Husband forget a razor and they had one to save the day 😉

We loved our suite with the double queen beds and sofa bed. It was a huge suite with a little hallway and we love that the vanity sink is separate from the main bathroom and it’s hidden away from the beds. Only bummer is it doesnt have a laundry room. The location is excellent as it was on the street corner, has ample parking space and the I-66 is behind it so very close to the Natl Mall. Will def stay here again when we come back to DC!

great value. My room was enormous. Very clean

This is a hidden gem hotel. Parking included (in a garage, no less!) with plenty of camera coverage, super friendly front desk staff, excellent rates for the DMV area. Very convenient to many food places, the subway, etc. Breakfast time in peak season appears to be a big rush from 8:15-9:30 during weekdays. We had to wait to grab a table to sit at. Continental breakfast was pretty standard as anywhere else. They do offer strawberry waffles if you have kids or just want a different taste. Eggs are different every morning. Recommend strongly if you enjoy some peace at breakfast, plan to get down there before 8. Housekeeping staff was hit or miss on refilling room coffee pouches, but overall I would give this hotel a solid 4.5 for the convenience of everything. Weeds outside along sidewalk are an issue but could be a city responsibility to handle. Don’t let it throw you off on the amenities inside!

Fantastic location. Free shuttle to the metro is a bonus.Lots of eating options around the area. Amazing place to explore washington.

Clean Room and free parking.

We booked through Expedia and got a very good rate. The property was neat and clean. All the staff was quite helpful and accommodating on the phone and in person. Housekeeping took good care of our needs. We weren’t too far from convenient stores and places to eat. The only thing the hotel does need is new fixtures for the tub and sink. The tub faucet was very hard to turn on and neither drain stopper was working properly. Also the room phone didn’t work at all, but we just used our cellphone to call the desk. Overall, we had a great stay and I would stay here again!

The room is clean. It has a good breakfast. The parking is most full but we managed to find a spot. Will definitely stay here for the future vacation.
