Comfort Inn Ballston

Everything was GREAT - super helpful staff, great breakfast, very clean and close to restaurants and sites at National Mall

Room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and the transportation to the metro station was a very nice service to have to get to DC during the 4th of July festivities.

I arrived pretty late after an 8-hour flight, and the front desk agent had just come from upstairs checking on something and when he started checking me in, the phone rang. With all this going on he was still really pleasant, my check-in process was really smooth, and he already had my keys ready to go. The room was more spacious than it looked in the photos and everything was clean. The bed was super comfortable (perfect firmness in the mattress and the sheets/pillowcases were clean and super soft) and although I dropped the headset when the front desk called (lol), I got my wakeup call right on time. Breakfast smelled wonderful (couldn't eat it because I had to get to work early), and I'm sure it would have tasted great if I had time to eat it. The parking lot is a little tight (a little difficult to move around it and get into parking spaces), but there was plenty of parking close to the building. Will stay again if needed.

I stayed here while visiting family in Arlington. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Ballston Metro station, which was convenient. The staff were friendly, the room was good, and noise from the highway wasn't an issue. The lobby and hallways are somewhat run down.

Everything was great. The shuttle to the metro was great, but the short walk back from it was easy and in a nice area so don’t worry if you miss it. The staff was helpful and engaging which was nice, they didn’t just check you off the list and move on.

Parking was free but difficult. Staff was helpful about that but still it wasn’t the best for parking. All else was good. Breakfast was good.

The location was perfect for us visiting family in Arlington. The free parking was most appreciated and it was very easy to find a spot to park. Plenty of luggage carts made it easy to unload and load the car with all of our luggage. Front desk staff quickly and cheerfully made a change to our room when we needed a room closer to the elevator for our elderly mother.

The breakfast was inadequate, the washroom shower handle was broken. There were signs of mould in the washroom also. But overall, the room was clean every day.

Staff were very friendly and attentive to the customers needs. It was close to my office and the rooms were very spacious and clean. Does not have a swimming pool.

The hotel is conveniently located and quiet. The humidity seemed high in the room.

The location was great and the parking was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful during our visit. Our room was clean and quiet. I liked the unique view out our window screened by the mature trees.

Breakfast service, though we could not classify it as gourmet, was clean, prompt, and nourishing. Seating was a bit crowded, but not unpleasant. Coffee was hot, and tasted good. Toaster only toasted bread on one side, and was slow. Scrambled eggs were somewhat overdone, but certainly edible.

No fruit, poor food choices, staff that was not truthful.

Nice neighborhood and everything was close to where we needed to go. Hotel was clean, efficient with friendly staff. Good breakfasts too.

Clean, safe area in VA business district, short walk to metro station, within 15 minutes from DC by metro, hot breakfast, free parking, great price!
