Albemarle Inn

From check-in to check out everything at the Alfa Mar Inn was simply delightful. This is our second day and this beautiful Greek revival Home. Our bed was particularly comfortable in the ribbon and roses room. We were more than content with the delicious continental breakfast served every morning. The fresh brewed coffee is definitely a must! I also love the staff‘s attention to detail from cookies at night for the guest to comfortable robes in each bedroom. I look forward to planning our next day. Special shout out to all the staff who checked us in and kept stocked our special guest kitchen for everyone at the end. Thank you for a wonderful stay again!

Gorgeous property. Especially enjoyed our time on the veranda. The “breakfast” isn’t much.

We had a great stay. The inn was beautiful and the receptionist very helpful. The bathroom was a bit small, but that is to be expected in an older home. We really enjoyed the breakfast provided. It was a very quiet place to relax.

It was a beautiful place and close to everything in the city. Comfortable room, beautiful grounds, and historically elegant house.

Historic property My communications went unanswered. Wanted to upgrade my room but no one replied and I developed allergies as the room assigned to us allows pets and we were jot aware of it. It was a special 70th birthday celebration and we were returning after 40 years and a simple note to acknowledge that would have made a difference and cost them nothing. Lost opportunity and they missed an opportunity to upgrade us for which we were willing to pay more. But reservation thru booking.com gets you the lowest grade room. Will not use site again. The inn did not pick up ph to make direct reservation nor reply to messages.

Not what we expected. Breakfast was not up to par, bagels and muffins. We were expecting a hot breakfast.

Perfectly maintained. Everything was perfect for the two of us.

The grounds were beautifully well kept, the house was clean, and the room was spacious. Nothing comes to mind.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were unique and welcoming. The staff was very accommodating for a late check in and there was tea and coffee available 24 hours a day. There was a community fridge for out use as well. The breakfast was lacking considering the price for the stay.

The house was absolutely beautiful and the location could not have been better, we were able to walk through beautiful neighborhoods and see beautiful places and the people were all very friendly and helpful to point out places to see The only thing that would’ve been helpful is to have had small refrigerator in the room to have the ability to keep drinks cold

The breakfast was quite basic and more-or-less do-it-yourself. At this price, one expects something freshly made, whether eggs, omelettes, pancakes, etc.

It was absolutely stunning. Inside and outside felt like I was in an old time movie. It was also very peaceful. We even saw a momma black bear and her cub while sitting on the porch. I wish the breakfast options had avocado and scrambled eggs.
