We loved the location. Easy walk to many excellent restaurants and shopping. The rooftop restaurant (Wildwood Still) was outstanding. The food and drink menu was top notch. Nice breakfast options at the cafe. Easy garage parking. We will be back!

    Great hotel. Perfect location

The location is great Extremely rude housekeeping staff. Incredibly loud techno music blasting by the pool (with a live DJ). The hotel allows local people to buy a day pass to the pool so the DJs had a bunch of friends there and they were all drinking and vaping in the pool, yelling, cussing, etc. The DJ's music was so loud you had to yell to talk to the person next to you (middle of the day on a Sunday) and blasting songs with the F word and N word and there were families with little kids. Many people came to the pool and left because it was so horrible. Everything was overpriced. We have stayed at this location many times and it has always been great before this.

First, the parking was great. It is about $17 per day, but I felt it was worth it. There are designated parking spaces for hotel guests, the area felt safe, and it was very convenient getting from the parking area right into the hotel. Check-in is located on the second floor, and the staff were courteous, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel has a fun, artsy atmosphere that gives it a little more personality than your typical hotel, which I really liked. There are a few areas that could use some improvement. The room could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly, especially when it came to wiping down certain surfaces. I also think some areas of the property could benefit from maintenance or remodeling. During our stay, not all of the elevators were working properly, and some of the entrance doors occasionally opened very slowly or seemed to get stuck before working normally again. That being said, these issues did not ruin our stay. The room was comfortable, the staff were pleasant, and the downtown Asheville location is fantastic. You can easily walk to restaurants, shops, entertainment, and other downtown attractions, and getting around the area by car was easy as well. Overall, the Aloft is a nice downtown hotel with a great location and friendly staff. With a little extra attenti

Breakfast was quickly served and decent! Coffee was good as well. Elevators were down and we got locked outside once.

Trendy hotel in Asheville. We didn’t know Moxy was attached next door. If I had to choose one, I’d select Moxy because they don’t allow dogs. At Aloft, we heard barking dogs in the morning and they are everywhere. I’m a dog lover but it was a bit too much, they were in restaurants too. The rooftop pool is nice, but the view is a bit better from Moxy. We went to Stillwater bar and I ordered a mojito there and it was horrible. I think the young bartender used parsley instead of mint. Aloft had water available for guests and the bar food was good. One of the elevators was out a service which caused a long wait. On 1 day we didn’t leave our room until noon so it didn’t get cleaned. It happens. The breakfast options were fair. Complimentary coffee and tea was available for a brief time.

Only a single elevator was working during the two days we were there. The wait times were unacceptable. We also had to ask the room cleaner to delay the cleaning for a bit but they never returned. The room also had a definite musty odor to it. The staff was more than helpful.

It was in a great part of town. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I love that dogs are welcome. They even had a dog on display for adoption. It was a great stay.

Once in the hotel we waited over 15 minutes for one of two working elevators to get checked in. Our room had a leftover bar of soap in the shower behind the shampoo bottle. There were stains on the curtain that if you’d hold a blue light to them I’m sure it was bodily fluids. Keep in mind this room looks out the patio doors to the pool. First morning waited for the elevator just to go get a cup of coffee because the coffee maker in the room did not have a basket for the grounds. Gave up on elevator because cleaning staff was occupying it and decided to take the stairs. Stairs led me to the parking ramp. Scanned card reader and door clicked and gave green light but door was locked. Had to go down in parking ramp to street entrance to get back into building. Got coffee, muffin and bacon at Starbucks area in lobby. Staff looked at me as I was trying to juggle and as I walked away heard them say oh we maybe should have offered him a sack. Waited at elevator with two other guests and when got on asked them to kindly hit my floor. The button did not illuminate because the cleaning person that was riding along had overrode my front door with a rear door so I had to go up two more floors and take a different set of steps to get to my room. Not the adventure was hoping for.
