The facility and its location in downtown Asheville was fantastic.

We loved the Paradise Suite. Beautifully decorated, very quiet bedroom, private front porch. Using an app to pay for parking was not pleasant. It would be much easier to just bill it to the room.

    Exceptional

Great location in walking distance to many downtown restaurants and galleries. Beautifully renovated group of buildings, with nice size suites, and all modern hotel conveniences without being a big faceless hotel. Very friendly helpful staff. Be sure to ask the staff about exactly how parking works and what to do if you get a notice from the parking management company. The parking is conveniently located right in front of the hotel, but unfortunately managed by a remote parking company "Air garage" that is either dreadfully incompetent (or possibly dishonest) in its operations....couldn't really determine. Hotel management is aware of the problem and trying to manage it.

Our accommodation was very spacious having a living room, separate bedroom with a king bed, and large bathroom. Unfortunately, the sofa sleeper in the living room was not comfortable, which we needed to use for the first night due to a maintenance issue in the bedroom. Thankfully, the issue was resolved the next day. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking is available on site but you may have to pay for it (unless it’s included in your booking fee.) There is a small bar/lounge area that is quaint and the mixologist does a fine job serving up your favorite Flapper era beverage. Unfortunately, the breakfast options for us (gluten-free) were marginal. If you like a continental type breakfast, you’ll enjoy it. Overall, a unique experience at Zelda Dearest.

Our room was beautiful and huge. If there was a drawback, it would be that our room was loud. This is to be expected in an old house so it didn’t bother us too much. We were directly above the bar/ restaurant area and you could hear people talking outside our door after getting home late at night. Maybe request one of the other two houses if planning to stay here. Overall, it didn’t bother us and the place was great.

Zelda Dearest is the perfect stay in Asheville. Truly a warm and welcoming team and the beautiful property make this a place we keep coming back to. We have the best memories staying here. All the rooms are unique and so comfortable. No trip here is long enough.

Great location, less crowded area of downtown and cleaner. Well preserved historic hotel homes, very clean, and quiet. Room decor and finishes are luxurious, elegant, and on trend. Easy to find and parking was easy. The continental breakfast pastries and the wine selection were good. We didn't get a chance to try cocktails but would love to next time.

Such a charming retreat steps away from all that downtown has to offer! Walkable to all our favorite spots, we enjoyed the plush, spacious suite and the charming staff at the desk and bar. Comfortable room for sleeping, large bathroom well stocked with towels, a quiet place to sit outside for the afternoon, chess and coffee in the evening, a lovely spread for breakfast—we wanted for nothing! A delightful spot to stay. We will return!

    Staff were very nice

Close to the center of town by only a few blocks yet with a secluded and restful vibe. Great characterful rooms across multiple remodeled Victorian buildings made this a memorable stay. A cosy bar, great continental breakfasts and great local scene guidance add to a 10/10 experience. Most significantly while it is not staffed 24/7 the daytime staff could not have done more to help with grace and a warm smile. Probably some of the most professional, welcoming and genuinely interested staff I have ever come across in many hotel stays around the world. Can't wait to return
