Property was modern , nice and very clean . The staff was helpful polite and very up beat . The restaurant and the bar was very peasant and the food and cocktails were exceptional .

Very confusing hotel. Difficult to get parked and check in. You check in at the downstairs bar. Rooms are very small. However, the staff is very helpful and the property is very clean.

Good location for downtown Asheville

Cons: this wasn’t a big deal, but the floor in our room was filthy when we got in (they sent someone to sweep it). We were also over charged for parking (miscommunication by the staff) and the staff was rude and unhelpful when I called about it. I was reimbursed for only half of what I overpaid. This put a bad taste in my in my mouth for our Asheville stay.

What a pleasant experience this place was. Unique. Excellent vibe. We didn't want to leave. From the great roof top pool views, the courteous staff, the laid back atmosphere..... this spot has it all.

Nice location. Free coffee in the mornings but no coffee maker in the room. Nice lobby area with bar, fireplace and games. Nice pool area with outdoor fireplace. Very modern. Travel light as there is no closet or drawers to put your clothes up. We did have a balcony that we enjoyed :)

Excellent place to stay!

I stayed for a week and my room was not always cleaned well. Shower curtain had mold and I asked for a replacement. A replacement was left for me to do on my own. Cleaning staff never picked up the moldy curtain for over 6 days of the stay. One day my room wasn’t cleaned at all. The billing system try to charge me for parking I never used (I took a flight into town). My sheets were never changed and were a little fragrant by the last day despite showering (it was hot annd muggy). Otherwise, staff was very friendly.

My friend and I stayed at the Moxy Asheville for 3 nights. The check- in was confusing because all you can see when you walk in is the bar. Once I figured out where to check in, the staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was tiny, barely big enough for the 2 double beds. There was no closet, although there were pegs on the wall with hangars- which helped. The room was clean and housekeeping came in daily to change towels, empty garbage and probably vacuum (although we didn’t see them actually vacuuming). The pool was very nice. We suggest having fewer cabanas and more chairs/umbrellas. The cabanas were empty and there was a shortage of chairs. Overall the hotel was excellent, but 3 days is probably my limit due to the tiny room size.

That checked us in not nice at all.
