Motel 6 Atlanta, GA - Downtown

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. This motel is very low quality, dirty and with rude unsupportive staff. I booked my stay on Expedia and there seemed to have been a discrepancy in how long my stay was. The staff and owner provided me no options to rectify the issue and proceeded to kick me out of the hotel. After 10 minutes of me trying to pack they called the police who eventually provided me more time to pack. This properly escalated a simple issue that I myself and other hotel workers could easily navigate. I wouldn’t stay here if it was the last place on earth. I will never book a Motel 6 again. This was the worst and most humiliating experience. And the property is old, dingy and not well maintained. If you care about your safety, peace of mind and customer service this is not the place for you.

Clean room, easy to get into, sizeable and nice for the price. AC was a little wonky and would often be cold then stop for a few minutes then come back, but overall, a very pleasant stay

The kiosk that they are using instead of staffing the property is awful and they were unhelpful with the checkout process and our keys constantly stopped working throughout the stay. Spend the extra few dollars and stay at a real hotel.

No AC not even a human being was at the front desk to help, it was a machine with a screen and a random person on the screen. No AC in room neither, felt like we were boiling alive

The mattress was a backbreaker in both beds. But the room service was good by housekeeping.

I only stayed here because I came to Atlanta for one night to attend a FIFA World Cup match, and this was one of the few hotels available downtown. It was an awful experience. I felt completely ripped off for what they charged. The property is old, dirty, poorly maintained, and nothing like what the price would suggest. Calling it a dump would honestly be generous. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Location was good and the night front desk worker is nice and professional i love the security and parking garage i felt safe

i didn’t mind the check in at all, the less i have to speak to an actual person face to face the better. what i didn’t like was the shower was not clean and still had hair in the previous stay other than that the room was clean. however the $50 fee they charge you was not given back to me after my stay, it was kept. i will not be staying at this location again bc of the cleanliness and the fee.

We were disappointed with our stay. We were surprised to have to pay $15 a night for parking after already paying to stay at the hotel. When selecting the room, we selected for breakfast to be included. Breakfast was not offered either morning. The elevator was frightening. Pretty sure it needs to be inspected. We were on the floor with an ice machine but no vending machine(3rd floor). The closest vending machine was on the second floor and the only choices were coke(we got the only one available), sprite, water(maybe), and Red Bull for $3 each. Other than the cleaning staff, we had no interaction with a human until check out. We did not like the virtual front desk receptionist. He was very hard to understand.

The hotel is located VERY conveniently downtown, with easy access to MARTA and the highways. It’s an older, no frills property that has been nicely updated and is VERY clean. It’s a very affordable option in Atlanta.
