Reviews

Good location for our event at Moody Center.
-
This location has a good location. But that was it. The price of this place is ridiculous and nothing to support that, meaning amenities. I was suppose to get a complementary wine. Never received. Suite was a bit small for pricing and living area is part of a room.

I loved this hotel and plan to return on my next business trip. Thomas at the front desk was truly amazing, proactively, ordering food and beverage for us when he knew that we were hungry and wouldn’t have access to the restaurant. I loved the simple touches like the fruit infused water in the lobby, the modern/contemporary decor, the fabulous restaurant upstairs with amazing views of the city, and I swear it was close to Michelin rated quality food. The rooms are spacious with the largest work desks that I have seen in a hotel room. I don’t drink alcohol, but it was very considerate that they had chilled champagne waiting in the room upon anrrival and offered to deliver a glass of sparkling wine on one of the evenings. This hotel felt extremely luxurious for such an affordable price point. I will be recommending that all my coworkers stay here as well.

Ask to have the bar, snacks, wine, water and towels refreshed each day because it does not happen on it’s own.
-
Great experience but they forgot to service our room on 3rd day.
-
Many of the rooms face a very busy road, resulting in significant road noise. The hotel should have been built with soundproof windows but that is not the case.

The hotel was amazing. They welcomed us with a bag of goodies for our dog. Staff was incredible! We will be back💗

Perfect in every way!

Unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to the expectations of a luxury hotel. The biggest issue was the noise. This was by far the noisiest downtown hotel I’ve stayed in while visiting Austin. It appears the building may have poor sound insulation, as outside noise was noticeable throughout our stay. The pool area was also disappointing. With only about 10 lounge chairs for a 106-room hotel, seating is extremely limited. When we arrived, there were no clean towels available, empty plates and glasses had not been cleared, and the entire area looked disheveled rather than polished. The staff was pleasant but not nearly as attentive as expected for a hotel in this price range. Service fell short in other ways as well. Later that evening, I realized I had forgotten toothpaste and called the front desk to request some. I was told it would be sent to the room, but it never arrived. Rather than call again, I went to bed, and my husband had to stop by the front desk the following morning to pick some up himself. The Loren has all the ingredients to be an exceptional luxury hotel—the design, rooms, and food are excellent—but it needs significant improvement in soundproofing, pool operations, housekeeping attention to detail, and guest service to justify its premium price.
-
The property was well maintained. The staff was courteous. The rooftop pool was small but functional. There was nothing wrong with our experience. It was just underwhelming compared to other 5 star resorts we have been to.

Modern clean location Music late at night - loud beat 2:00 am

Incredibly friendly staff, breakfast at Nido was the best I’ve had in a long time! Would definitely come back.
-
The room was noisy from outside traffic but they did provide ear plugs however if you’re not used to using them they can be uncomfortable to wear. Hotel was excellent and staff was so nice! Will ask for another room facing away from the traffic next time

Gym was great. Restaurant had fantastic views.

The AC didn’t work. Set thermostat for 69 to sleep. Woke up and the room was 73. Too hot for me to sleep comfortably. I think there might be a motion detector element because the room was warm when we returned after being out for the day. I won’t be going back
