Hyatt Place Baton Rouge/I-10

The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. The continental breakfast was good and the hotel was very quiet so we got a goodnight sleep.

Hotel was dated but good, they claimed they were renovating but did not see much. Had to go from 1st floor to 3rd floor for ice. The breakfast has a lot to be desired.

The front desk guy Nick was very nice and helpful. But the room needs updating on the furniture and AC unit. That unit was very noisy and the sofa in the room had stains and a few rips and the floor was sticky.

Pool was full of algae and not usable… shower curtain was stained with pink and black stains of who knows what. We were expecting a higher standard from Hyatt branded hotels and this one disappoints…. Staff were friendly though

The rooms were dirty so we had to change rooms. It smelled like sewage, my daughter had a lizard in her room, the pool was dirty, and the air condition was so noisy I couldn’t sleep. The elevators were hot. Also the breakfast was not good, hardly anything to eat. They also took away the waffle maker on Sunday. I will never stay here again.

The Motel is accessible, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. We'll stay here again.

Staff was minimal. Seemed like they wanted more with less. Had to request room turnover on 3rd day and response was, “we only have two people so we’ll try.” Only had one elevator during the first day of our stay. The breakfast was basic at best. Only marginally better than a continental. It’s cheap which is the best thing about it. One ice machine for the whole hotel?? Ridiculous.

The room was clean and staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast was not great, they didn't have much options and they were out of everything and took a while to replenish. It location was great and easily accessable.

We had to move rooms because our AC wasn't working, but the 2nd room AC wasnt much better. The staff was wonderful and did provide us with 2 box fans. Loved the size of the room. My kids weren't impressed with breakfast options, but im not worried too much about that. My only real complaint is the AC. Our 2nd night seemed cooler which was nice and maybe they had someone come maintenance the AC.

Breakfast was a no for my kids because who likes watered down almond milk for their cereal. We were told that there were either soccer or softball player staying and they ran out of regular milk. Overall, I will never stay here again.

One nice thing is the bed was fairly comfortable, and the sheets were clean and did not smell like smoke. Overall, I wish I hadn't stayed at this property.

My family and I had a good experience here and the breakfast was decent. Beds were comfortable and plenty to do around the area. They even have a cat who lives around the hotel! He’s so sweet and friendly, and well taken care. He might even greet you by the doors!

The staff was lovely and very helpful. However, my room smelled like smoke, and there was hair in the bed. They did move me to different room, but the toilet clearly had not been cleaned in that one. I’ve stayed at this hotel for numerous years the evening before a local race, but it’s really deteriorated over time. I won’t be staying again.

Staff was attentive. The air condition was at 60% efficiency. The ac unit was not cooling properly and room environment was humid. Nred to upgrade units and have a preventive maintenance program in place. Another person who was staying at the hotel had asked me about my air conditioning because he was facing the same issues.
