Tru By Hilton Battle Creek

We stayed for 1 night in July 2026. Great location, and clean.

Clean roo., helpful staff even though there was a global outage with their systems. Breakfast was good and the stay was exactly what we needed

I am surprised Hilton would put their name on a hotel of this quality. It was barely adequate with so many negatives. First, no closet or dresser in the room. Hang your clothes on hooks like Little House on the Prarie. There were hangers on a bar, just out in the room. There was a bench with an open shelf beneath it for anything you would normally put in a drawer. No drawers to be had. There was no ice bucket in the room, apparently they're stored at the ice machine but not at the machine on our floor. The front desk provided an ice bucket upon request, although there was no lid. There was a desk but no notepad or writing implement of any kind. Housekeeping will clean every other day. We arrived on Tuesday, checked out on Thursday, so our room was never cleaned, garbage never emptied. We had to go to the front desk to fetch toilet paper and towels. There was no clock in the room. It's inexpensive for sure but going forward I'll pay more and go elsewhere.

It was a great experience. Staff was very great. My son had a great time swimming in the pool, gym, a very cozy lounge area. I highly recommend Tru Hotel. I will stay again.

The place was new and immaculate. Staff was friendly and room was well equipped. My only complaints were minor: (1)There was a fee for parking my car. If there needs to be such a cost, it should simply be added to the cost of the room. (Who wouldn't come without a car?) (2) The air conditioner was positioned right next to the room's desk, which was very uncomfortable when I was trying to do some work at the desk. (3) I still prefer bar soap for showers, even though I realize the trend has been toward liquid soap.

Overall good experience for a night with my son for a c9llege visit nearby. Clean and new building. Quiet. There is not much to the breakfast though. Nothing interesting. Just basics.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel seams pretty new. The breakfast was good. I recommand this hotel.

No microwave or coffee? What are you thinking? You should post that Tru has substandard amenities so people aren't surprised like I was. Will never stay in another Tru.

Hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The only downfall was how small the pool was. Everytime we went to use it, it was packed.

Nice newer hotel. Breakfast is a good mix of hot and cold. Rooms are not as spacious as other hotels, but overall it’s a good value. Wish the rooms had a microwave, but that’s the only complaint! Will visit again.

Clean and comfortable

Room was clean, after a second attempt to check-in, everything else was lovely. The first attempt was leaving us confused after being told there were no rooms available. Even after stating we had a room reservation. Left for a bit to go shopping went back after to try Check-in again. Breakfast was good

The TRU Hotel room rates are reasonable. My room is clean and comfortable and I’d recommend that anyone stays here! Thank you for a restful experience!

Amazing!!! I know this is a newer property but it was immaculately clean! Staff was awesome and my room was top notch. When I return here in the future I will request that same room. Breakfast was great, absolutely loved the yogurt bar.

This is a new hotel and everything appeared in great condition, and the room was spotless. Friendly and helpful staff were always available/greeted all of the guests.
