Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Beaumont

They had a humidifier in the room it went off. We went to the front desk to ask for help. The desk clerk tell my husband to empty the water tank. Not our responsibility but with it being off the room smells so bad. I had to spray the whole room. Made me wonder what we were breathing in. When I read the reson why it was in there . I thought because of the hotel being work on next door and the dust

Quiet and comfortable place. Breakfast choices were none. Same thing almost every day. I was there for a week. No mirco wave in the room. Refrigerator in room didn't stay cold, so food spoiled.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room never cooled off so was warm all night. Lots of rust in the bathroom, loud fan.

breakfast was good and staff very nice and helpful. worn out sheets wouldn't stay on the bed. TV is very small and volume not very good. We were on the first floor and the only ice is on second and third floors. Even the kitchen has no ice so you want to fill your glass you have to go to another floor. We had a stand alone dehumidifier in our room because the air conditioner didn't work well and it would cut off sometime during the night because it was full of water.

smelled like mildew

The only minor complaint I have is breakfast was a little lacking in variety. But there was strawberry yogurt on my second morning (plain and vanilla the first morning) which helped. Otherwise, perfect stay.

Staff was unpleasant and lady that checked us in was rude And a bit racist . He didn’t smile when I greeted her she had an attitude. When I pulled out my cc for incidental she said “ don’t hand it to me until I ask for it’ the room he gave me wasn’t the best the main door had a big gap looked broke they need to fix that because you can see in if your tall enough. The bathroom door was broken if you closed it you could get stuck . Fir this to be a Marriott I was disappointed

Air Conditioning was good, we did have to change rooms because when we came back to the room it smelled as if a pipe had busted in the restroom. The new room we switched to was great

It was nice and clean very welcome with the presentation of the front desk and the little time I was in the room The staff was very rude, wasn’t professional, using profanity and misled the whole situation, turned this out

the room was nice & unique. the tv’s were up to date with netflix and prime video options. the bathroom arrangement, sink being separate from shower. not the best location due to frequent homeless near by .

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and delicious

The whole hotel smells of mildew, they are running dehumidifiers in the rooms to try and keep the humidity down. The building is run down. It’s way over priced for what it was. The staff is as good though they are trying there best but the property owner needs to do better.
