Hilton Garden Inn Beaumont, TX

A.C. was loud and rattled. Water in bathroom had low flow. Third floor hall was not air conditioned. Light fixture broken in the hall way. Extension cord on the floor ran from an out let in the hall way to the H.V.A.C. room. Swimming pool was out of order. Noise from the highway was loud inside our room.

While there was an issue with the swimming pool that initially dampened our spirits, Anne the night clerk (night of Sept 18) was quick to assure us that we would be welcomed at the neighboring hotel swimming pool. This courtesy was the defining point of our stay and made our trip pleasant and comfortable for our family. There was another family at the pool that evening who were friendly and enjoyable, engaging with our children and playing together. We would also like to commend Ms. Eudora, the breakfast server, who remembered us each day and was very friendly and kind to us. This experience exceeded our expectations, despite the pool malfunction, and it was all due to excellent staff. The highway noise from our rooms could not even cause us disturbance because we slept so well knowing the staff was genuinely concerned for our safety, wellbeing and happiness. Such excellent service is rare, and this location is a diamond in the rough when it comes to fantastic staff. They deserve the recognition and praise for going above and beyond for our family, and we appreciate them very kindly.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean. We stayed two nights. The second day our room was not cleaned. I called at 4pm letting staff know. They said they had one housekeeper. The staff member said they woukd inform the housekeeper. We returned to our room at 11pm. Room still not cleaned or supplies filled. I called front desk the staff member brought us towels and coffee. Other than that the stay was pleasant.

Bad

Stayed for one night, but all the staff were excellent! The kitchen was open and the food was great! Very open atmosphere!

We picked this hotel because it's on I-10 (our route) and for the pool. However, the pool was closed for maint. when we got there (storms earlier in the week). We would have found another place but decided to stay anyway because the receptionist was great! She called a neighboring hotel to see if we could use their pool for a dip instead. Clean room, quiet, friendly staff and a good night's sleep. No complaints.

Clean and welcoming staff Pool was not working

Our room was in need of significant maintenance. The bathroom, doors, drawers, and desk were all showing signs of wear and falling apart. One of the towels even had someone else’s mascara on it, which was especially concerning. The pool has apparently been inoperable since our last visit about six months ago, and it was still green and unusable this time. There was also no air conditioning in the lobby or hallways, making the common areas extremely uncomfortable. The lobby itself was dirty and did not give the impression of a well-maintained Hilton property. That said, the staff was wonderful as always. They were friendly, courteous, and helpful, and we have always had a positive experience with the employees. It’s unfortunate because we have enjoyed staying here in the past, but the condition of the property has really declined. We hope management takes these concerns seriously because this hotel has the potential to be so much better and was clearly once a much nicer property.

The staff were extremely friendly and informative. Also, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the room. Finally, the breakfast was first class and served hot. Thank you.

The interior is clean, updated and modern! The bar/restaurant was very convenient!

The lobby was just hot. I think the ac was out

You will not get your room cleaned and towels daily, not acceptable from a Hilton name. No free breakfast, we paid extra for a king room that didn’t call out separate breakfast charges, there was a cheaper king room that called out breakfast was extra. I had 1/2 cup of yogurt with blueberries and my husband had a small side of scrambled eggs from the heated pan and we were handed a bill for $34! Thankfully the Expedia chat agent was able to remedy the situation. The pool was closed for maintenance our entire stay. The only bright spot was friendly front desk staff. We will absolutely not stay here again.

AC was out in the lobby. Internet was down when I checked in so no wi-fi and card keys didn't even work.

Not much Hardly any water pressure in the bathroom. The door to the room was extremely heavy and difficult to open. The shower head was over six feet. Cannot be reached by a smaller person, like most women. No air conditioning in the lobby. Never fixed during my stay. Loud air conditioner kept us waking up during the night.

Everyone I dealt with was very nice and they facility was very clean.

Everything Nothing

No breakfast, only a grill and bar. Massive street repairs to interstate by hotel. Traffic delays and bad access to interstate.

Was not able to experience the stay due to Hilton issues The lack of professional. Hilton had a system issue and the facility didn't do anything to accommodate the guest scheduled to sign in. Not good for business.
