Hampton Inn Beckley

The room was decent, but the breakfast was not great. We stay in Hampton Inns almost everytime we travel and the breakfast at this location was unfortunately the worst one we have had. The pool was outside and the water was a green color. I didn’t see anyone swimming in it and we did not either. I would give this location a C-

Overall, a good stay... hotel had no major problems- breakfaat good ( coffee excellent!), comfortable bed. But hotel is looking a bit tired. good location!

very dated. bathtub filled with water to my ankles while I was showering the ceiling had a crack in. It looked like water damagel I requested Housekeeping service which I never got so they did takeoff one night room right very small crowded area for the breakfast a bit disappointing for Hampton Inn and expensive The toilets were like from years ago. They were so low.

One piece of furniture housing the fridge and microwave needs some repair. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean but it all needs to be updated. Nothing felt “crisp”. Complimentary breakfast was less than satisfactory. We would not stay there again.

Clean Not a lot of dog space

The breakfast is good! The refill for coffee/hot water is very timely. All staff are very nice! I understand the room service rule has changed. However, this every other day’s service pattern is not convenient for the customers with family who stay for two days.

Ceiling was peeling in room. Towel bar fell off. Breakfast was not appetizing. Check in/out was fine. Bathroom very small.

They did have fresh fruit which was very good.

Everything was fine, except for the lady who was rude at the breakfast area because she wanted to close it down even though it was still supposed to be open. She really did just about everything possible to run people out of there and hated to be bothered with a question or request for a condiment. There was no meat, but the scrambled eggs were OK. Don’t bother trying to order a dinner to be delivered from the steakhouse right there in the parking lot because after I tried calling three different times, they hung up on me each time. You figure if they charge about $40 for a steak dinner at minimum they could at least take your order but I guess they can’t be bothered either.So if you order food in be ready for typical chain restaurant, fast food, pizza, and pizza.

When we checked in, we found: Mold in the bathroom Mismatched sink handles that both turned the same direction Visibly filthy walls with peeling wallpaper Pillows stained a dark brown shade, clearly not clean Only one working elevator, which was constantly backed up Non-functioning ice machines on our floor I’ve attached photos documenting these issues. Had this been a budget property, I might have lowered my expectations, but at this price point, we expected a clean, well-maintained room at minimum. Given these conditions, I’m requesting a full refund for our stay. We’d appreciate a prompt response, and I’m happy to provide any additional information needed to process this. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

No issues, great location, clean well maintained property.

Breakfast was the smallest I have ever seen at a Hampton Inn and was limited in both selection and stock at 7:30. Staff were helpful and courteous. Lobby and elevator area in desperate need to paint. Of many Hampton Inn stays in various locations, I can say this is the worst location I have experienced overall.

Location The carpet was sticky and left residue on the bottom of our feet. The tub /shower had you standing in water the whole shower.

The room was clean, nicely furnished, and quiet. Staff were pleasant and professional. Breakfast quality and selection were good (but not spectacular). The hotel has a small lobby/reception/breakfast area that felt a little cramped, especially during breakfast.
