Hampton Inn Beckley

Nice hotel right off the expressway for convenient overnight stay. Pet friendly and clean hotel. Helpful staff.

It is one thing to have a threadbare hotel undergoing renovation, it is not an excuse for a filthy hotel. First I assume there is rennovation going in as there were enough conexes filling the parking lot to refurnish the entire hotel twice. After moving through the conex maze and finding a parking space, you get to ex[erience a filtyjhy lobby. Then you get to wait forever on the one working elevator in the five story hotel only to find out it has broken ceiling tiles in the ceiling. The room itself was a bit off putting as the capet was fraying and the bath had a tub, which you rarely see in hotels. On top of that, the ceiling in the bath was peiling and not a little bit, but rather a full 1/4 of it. On the positive side, the bedding was clean, the carpet was vacumed and all the lights & electronics worked. This is nowhere close to what I expect from a Hampton.

It was OK

There was no hot water. The shampoo was empty. The poor staff member maintaining breakfast couldn't keep up by herself she was trying hard.

Staff excellent, breakfast very good, room was comfortable and clean, but property is in need of renovation-flooring, walls, doors, ac in hallway.

The ONLY reason I chose to travel a day early and this hotel was for the pool. It was closed. The staff made us feel like criminals for even wanting to sit in the sun on the pool deck. Never again. I am also alerting our corporate account.

i have been fighting with this hotel since August 13th after a ONE NIGHT stay on August 8th for my spouse & I! We immediately got home and reached out about BED BUG BITES all over my back, down my side and the back of one leg! My husband has bites all on just one side and on his bottom! I even went as far as to TAKE PHOTOS of both of us up close and verified with the Diamond Desk that the pics had been received! I absolutely will NOT stay loyal to the HILTON brand for 25+ yrs just to be dismissed and told, “SOMEONE WENT to CHECK and didnt see anything!!” Are you kidding me???? What magnifying glass did they take to the room with them in order to SEE THEM????? And the other LAME excuse of “No one else has complained” WELL it has to start with SOMEONE and that SOMEONE IS ME!!! After seeing our pcp, getting antihistamines and ointments so we could actually sleep someone better be making this right!! Or Im sure BONVOY will gladly start taking my money and the money of every employee that works and travels for me!!

Clean room. Friendly Staff. Free breakfast was good.

Older hotel but clean and convenient

The location was good It’s old the toilet and tub didn’t drain water good

The room was perfect. Some maintenance is required in some of the public areas but doesn’t interfere with activities. The breakfast area’s required looking to find some of the breakfast items, but that really had to do with the layout itself. We would stay there again if that was our planned stop over city.

Room was clean. Staff could be more friendly and accommodating.
