Microtel Inn by Wyndham Beckley

Perfectly fine hotel for when you are on a budget. No frills, small rooms that could use some love, but worked well for our visit to New River Gorge National Park. Only half the jets in the hot tub were working.

Stayed for one night! Dont even waste your money here, bugs on my bed and dirty room

Need to keep bathroom sink drain unplugged...

A fine place to stay, nothing spectacular.

This place is FILTHY! Absolutely disgusting! Stains on the bedding, stuff smeared on the walls, mold in the shower and tile etc. We asked to switch rooms and 2nd room was just as bad as the 1st. If this was the only hotel with a room, I'd sleep in my car.

Located conveniently near restaurants, stores,and services. Quiet, safe area.

Although there were signs posted everywhere that its a smoke free hotel, the corridor and rooms on the main floor were full of cigarette smell. The rooms are pretty small, no hooks to hang clothes, no closet space,, no hangers, no hair dryer, had to ask for it at the front desk.

The front desk people were rude from the beginning. The pool area set for guests only, and the employees kid was in there. Can I get sometimes you're in a crunch and have to take your kid to work...But then cover up the sign that says guests only. When my kids walked in with me, I was told to make sure they're not left unattended. My kids are never left unattended, and we're not at that time when it was brought to our attention. The check in process was very unpleasant. The bedding had burn holes in it and there were spiders and little bugs crawling everywhere. We will not be back.

I visit Beckley, West Virginia and had a couple family members came to visit me. They wanted to charge them $10 each for swimming. And made us get out the pool.

Very clean and breakfast was well done. Staff were friendly and competent. Would stay again.

Clean place room an fair price

Our experiences with staff was good. They were polite and friendly. The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The property itself needs some work. There were a few places throughout the hotel where duct tape was used (i.e. elevator panel, cracked window, handrail) and the elevator was down for a bit. Breakfast was okay. They had most of the basics. I thought it was weird they had eggs but no breakfast meat, sausage gravy but no biscuits, and then frozen sausage biscuits that you had to microwave…but you probably won’t starve. The beds would probably be enough for me to stay again.
