Extremely clean, very friendly staff. Great place for an inexpensive stay.

Breakfast was just your average packaged muffins, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Not necessarily top quality, but it was something to feed your belly. Overall I’d say it was an okay stay. Staff stayed scarce and weren’t mean but weren’t overly friendly or warm either. They said hi after check in and that’s about it. When I turned in the room keys the next morning upon check out, all’s they said was “okay” and took the keycards. No, “how was your stay?” “Was everything good”, etc.

The only thing wrong is we kept exchanging night lights at the front desk—finally realized the outlet by the sink does NOT work! Room 223–fix the electrical outlet by the sink! And stock your medicine chest with antacids— tums, rolaids, anything! Last year you sold them, this year you kept telling me every day I was there that “we’re out! Sorry!” On the first day someone s/h restocked your supply!!! Or how about the 2nd day or the 3rd day or the 4th day?????! I asked every day and did not have a car to get to a drugstore. The front desk help are very unconcerned about the guests’ comfort. It started to rain and I had to walk next door, and you don’t even have complimentary umbrellas! GET SOME UMBRELLAS!!!!!!! Every thing else was great: breakfast, housekeeping, everything! Thx!

The area by the pool was reasonably quite for sitting at a table and it was easy to find spots to walk by the hotel.

We will continue to go back because the staff is so accommodating and friendly. One of the few places that have an outdoor pool as well. The rooms are clean and may not be large but they have maximized the space so you have plenty of space to put your clothes and luggage. Great value for the money. Love this place!

The location was great for me - not far away from my route, but far enough off the freeway to be away from the crazy traffic. I really like the concept. For example, the soap and shampoo come in large pump containers, rather than in those tiny little plastic bottles that are practically impossible to extract anything from. I also like the fact that the writing table swings out - neat idea. The iron and ironing board are very useful and my bed was wonderful. The stairs were easy to climb and very accessible from the lobby. I don’t need a microwave most of the time, and having one in the room would just clutter it up. But it’s nice to have one in the lobby if I should need it. The bathroom is very widely designed, with the wash basin separate and the toilet in the shower area. Having a shower and not a bathtub is smart. The shower head gives you a really nice shower as well. All very functional and practical.. Overall, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. It suited my needs perfectly. The property itself was fine. I wasn’t expecting a posh, luxurious resort. I do like the concept behind Spark, I.e., functionality, and can’t understand why more hotels don’t follow it. If Spark has one drawback, it’s consistency of product (think McDonald’s). Your Little Rick location is horrible, and I will never stay at that place again.
