Knights Inn Big Spring

False advertising. We knew this was a basic overnight stay but it was advertised as a room with two queen beds. I dont even think these beds are double and the mattress is even larger than the bedframe! We reserved through hotels.com. We all know that is not what I received. The owner got on my call when I asked for a small refund due to the falsity of what was promised vs what they have. She LIED to me. The lie is the reason for the poor review. It is like being told by a business owner that you are stupid. Okay that's two lies because I am not stupid. I paid their highest rate. I should have been met with an apology for the "misunderstanding" and the offer of a small refund. While on the call I let her know that had it been for the bed, which is why one goes to a motel, I would have commended their efforts in fixing the place up. I also warned that the shower head needs to be fixed because it could leak back into the wall behind the new tile. Because even though the franchise owner cares not for her guests, I care about the property and the people who will stay there. The bottom line is that legally I could have said no way and not checked in. At 10 oclock I could have gone back to the tiny window where they charged my card and said nope. Legally based on the disparity between advertisement and room she would have to refund and we could have gone somewhere else. Not that after speaking to the owner I think she would have refunded even for the falsity. Don't go here.

Staff was ok didn’t take long to check in, the problem arose when I walked in to our room. At first it seemed clean enough. Later on I went to the bathroom and there was a cockroach on the counter . Gross but I didn’t make a big deal about it .around 5am i Went to the restroom, I turn the light on and there’s at least 5-6 cockroaches scattered around the bathroom! Honestly got my wife up and we left immediately. Truly disgusting

Surroundings did not feel very safe.

No parking, paid for two nights based off pictures and I regret it the second I pulled up I didn’t even have a chance to find a place to park it was so packed so I took my losses instead of the potential of losing my truck and stayed elsewhere

Poor parking, grounds not well maintained.

There was no place to park our car, and there were people loitering outside on the landings upstairs. We requested a refund and were told one would occur within 72 hours. Photographs of this hotel do not give a recent idea of its condition.

Big bed and clean environment

The motel is being renovated at this time, and I think it will be very nice! However, we had no breakfast available, and we had no paper cups or anything to drink out of in the room. It was very clean, and I think it will be very nice when they finish the renovation.

Everything is bad, location, it is old, no breakfast room, rooms clean but old and rusted, way to noise from the uper levels, i think too much money for that place, I got screwed by that rating that you guys have in the website.

It's alright for the price. Tiiiiny rooms, don't share one.

There was a funny smell and no hand soap

We loved staying here! The parking was small well-lit and secure, the place was clean and safe, and the beds were super comfy. The shower had awesome water pressure 👍. We weren't looking for a fancy breakfast - just something simple to fill our tummies, and that worked out. Honestly, we didn't even care about breakfast - we just wanted an affordable, clean, safe, and comfy place to crash, and we got it 😄. The place is well-maintained, don't expect fancy, just solid value. The rooms were clean and the staff were really nice and kind ❤️. We will definitely be back and do recommend to everyone.

This is a small hidden gem and it is safe and comfortable place. Our crew stayed here while working, and I visited to supervise the job. Parking is small but manageable. The rooms are clean, the shower pressure is excellent, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. It’s a workers’ town, so you’ll see plenty of pickup trucks. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a quiet, safe, and affordable stay.

No room in parking lot..ONLY parking on dark street..DID NOT CHECK IN...JUSY WENT TO FIND ANOTHER PLACE
