Tutwiler Hotel Birmingham, a DoubleTree by Hilton

Really cool upscale vintage vibe. Very comfy beds. Staff are friendly. Very clean. Would come back. My only issue is the pillows. My husband loved them, but I could have used more neck support.

Our stay was outstanding. The location is great and the property is even better. My only complaint was a loud bang that happened several times through the night and I have no idea what it was. Would definitely stay again.

Very good

Beautiful building with a great history. The rooms are modern and inviting.

It will be great when they get their liquor license- which will probably be soon. Very pretty, classy and vintage hotel. Loved the period pictures in the hallways of the LL Level.

Great room, great location, great staff.

Yes

Nice room. Walking distance to local amenities. Pleasant staff. Box fan in the closet was a nice touch.

The restaurant had just opened, still awaiting liqueur license. The food was really great!

I needed to be in a specific part of Birmingham - within walking distance of the Art Museum. The Tutwiler is exactly one block distance. For that purpose it was perfect. Apparently, it has undergone a recent renovation and it shows. I spent a little extra for a corner room - extra light - well worth it. It's very stylish - lots of black accents. There is a great park across the street where an art festival is happening. The price was average for that area.

Valet was very attentive and friendly!

ROOM WAS EXCELLENT, DARK SHADES, COMFORTABLE PILLOWS, SPACIOUS ROOM, FREE WI-FI HELPED ME PREPARE AND RELAX FOR MY BUSINESS MEETING THE NEXT 2 DAYS no microwave in rooms, noisy fan in bathroom -had to close the door at night

For it to be a nice place. The air conditioning didn’t work so many people were complaining . They apologizes and told us that they have box fan in closet. And I know that it’s not the front desk fault

We loved this beautiful hotel!

Great hotel but if you want to save time and money, don't use their valet parking. I had to wait for them to find keys for other cars as they boxed in my vehicle every time I needed my vehicle. You can park on the street for free from 6 PM - 8 AM and if you need to park during the day, it's only $1/hour instead of $59 for valet at the hotel.

Enjoyed our stay clean and staff friendly and helpful great location walking distance to everything.

The room was fancy and very spacious Everything had to be paid for and charged to your card which is normally free at a regular hotel such as breakfast and parking.

First class all the way

Room size, staff

Beautiful hotel, great restaurant, and convenient location!
