I would not recommend this hotel. The broken sign is a good signal to the quality of the hotel. The room smelled terrible, the A/C was incredibly noisy, and the bathroom had mold in the caulk. There are too many other hotels in the area at the same price point and I’d likely go elsewhere if given the opportunity.

Clean, good location.

Breakfast was bad and partially inedible

For a Marriott property it was very bad. My sink was broke…the furniture was very dirty…I requested a top floor was didn’t receive one…a huge fly in my room…the fan was super loud in bathroom. The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable though.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn in Bismarck, ND. The room was clean and spacious (there was seating for 7 or 8 people). The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful (Acelin and Christian were especially amazing).

However, when we arrived just before the 3:00 p.m. check-in time, our room hadn’t even been started by housekeeping. There were several staff members at the front desk, but one older gentleman was rude and not particularly helpful. Fortunately, another employee was very kind and proactive. She contacted housekeeping to have them begin cleaning our room. When we returned a half hour later, the room still wasn’t ready. The same front desk employee checked on the status herself and appeared to help move things along. I really appreciated her excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The hallways on the lower level smelled strongly like a cat litter box, and our room had a musty odor. While the room itself appeared to be clean, the smell made it less enjoyable. We chose not to bring the issue up because we didn’t want to deal with the rude employee at the front desk again. Residence Inn used to be one of my preferred places to stay, but based on this experience, I will likely choose a different hotel the next time I’m in Bismarck.

I love the location and the option of having two rooms and a kitchen area. The staff are always helpful and accommodating. The property itself needs some serious updating. The chairs in the kitchen area are peeling and coming apart. The toilet seat was loose and unsteady, curtains not working in the bedroom so unable to open them during the day. Overall our stay was good. This property just needs some TLC and some serious updating!

I reserved online 2 queen beds & when I checked in staff said "I'm sorry we don't have your 1 King room available so we'll substitute 2 queen. I don't know if the website messed up, but he was accommodating.

This is a nice place to stay if you’re in town for an extended period of time. It’s nice to have that feeling of being in an apartment. They have a daily breakfast that is nice and coffee and tea with creamer and sugar at your disposal. I would recommend this hotel. Towels are nice and good size.

Our room was not clean. Stains on the bed, mold in the shower, and a white powder on our chair.
-
Clean rooms, very spacious, breakfast was good and not to far from the airport.
-
Hot breakfast, plenty of parking, great location, comfortable accommodations.
-
Great experience! A bit more than I like to pay but my other reservation disappeared at hotels.com

Jackson at the front desk was extremely helpful, knowledgeable & pleasant. I will stay here again.

Room and hotel was nice. Unfortunately getting hot water was a struggle only could barely get luke warm especially as cold as it is.

Very good

Pleasant

The staff was by far the most pleasant part of my stay, no matter what time of day it was. The room was nice and mostly well-kept, but there were burned out lightbulbs in a couple of fixtures, the dishwasher was full of dishes, and the dog park needed some serious attention.
