Location and facilities. It’s very quiet depending on where your room is located. Rooms are a bit dated but beds are comfortable and rooms clean

I had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. Being right on campus made getting around extremely convenient, and the surroundings were beautiful. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained. As a minor suggestion, having an in-room microwave or an electric kettle for hot water would make the stay even more convenient for guests. Thank you to the staff for a great experience—I would definitely stay here again!

Even my 17 year old grandson found the tub very slippery. Older guest might want to reserve an ADA room—I will if I stay again..

Very clean and spacious rooms. The price is an amazing value. Ample parking and most importantly a very professional and motivated staff.

The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the it was a wonderful stay. My only recommendation would be to have microwaves in the rooms.

We were in a first floor room which is below ground level. Nothing particularly wrong with that unless you want a view from the window.

The room was very spacious and well appointed. Housekeeping came EVERY DAY to make the bed, bring clean towels, and tidy up. We never heard vacuums too early. And the ice maker worked. Price was comparable to or better than awful hotels in the area. There was a full bathroom, plus a sink outside the bathroom. So we were both able to get ready at the same time. Breakfast was an additonal charge of something like $16 a person. No thanks.. We had drinks at the bar one night. Bartender was great to talk to, but the mixed drinks were rather small -- they came in small glasses that weren't even close to full. It was weird. We ordered one appetizer that wasn't so great. We were going to order something else, but they were out of it. Asked for something else -- out of that, too. Just got one. And it was not very good. Seems like they're trying to be too fancy. Fancy food at fancy prices. Blah. Very weird menu. We had wanted to stay there for move in week, but the rates were so ridiculously high that we decided not to. After everyone left, we were able to get a room there at a normal price.

Amazing location on Virginia Tech’s Campus. Love the renovations on the restaurant and bar. Enjoyed the comfort of the rooms. However, the mechanical room beside our bedroom was a little loud but not terrible. We will definitely stay here again.
