Cambria Hotel Bloomington Mall of America Minneapolis Airport

The beds are wonderful and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the airport so you will hear the plains going overhead, and they do come overhead low. But the noise is not disturbing. I will always stay at this hotel when I am in the area.

Felt very new and very clean. It's an airport hotel, so yeah, you can hear the planes. But overall one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in on our cross-country journey.

Great breakfast!

The place is clean. The beds are comfortable. Lexi has been super friendly and very helpful. Matt is a great bartender. I’ve stayed in several hotels in the area over the past week but this one has been my favorite so far

Additionally, the breakfast did not meet expectations. Given the quality and selection, it would be more appropriate as a complimentary amenity rather than a separately charged offering. I hope these concerns are addressed, as they significantly impacted our experience.

Staff friendly and efficient. Shuttle service worked well. Food delicious. Clean, spacious and modern room.

Absolutely amazing stay. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was clean, as was all of the hotel I visited. The breakfast buffet, while not free, was reasonable ($11-12) and had a good selection of food. The hotel is located right next to Mall of America and other attractions. It is not far from the airport. This hotel is a great value and a fun place to have a safe stay for whatever you need.

Great hotel. Only complaint is it’s close to the airport and lots of plane noise late at night.

Everything was excellent! Our only complaint was that it took at least 5 minutes for the water to get hot in the shower every time.

I am coming back to stay at Cambria. I was so impressed, especially with the beds, room and lobby. I did not eat there. The shuttle drivers are fantastic and so friendly. They blow Minnesota Nice out of the water. I would go back just for that service alone. David who works during the day and Chris who works the night shift were amazing. They both went out of their way to ensure I was happy with the service.

Everything the way I like it.

Everything was great, except one thing. picture this...its check out time, im walking out with luggage and a birthday balloon. There are FOUR employees standing at the check out desk. Instead of them saying, "Safe travels. thanks for staying", or "have a great day, beautiful safe", they proceeded instead to stare as I walked away with no pleasantries at all. Let's try greeting every guest , coming and going.

Sorry, but there are negatives you should be aware of so you won't be caught off guard. The room could best be described as minimalist, as are some of the expected services. There are only 2 tiny drawers in the room, and they are in the coffee/microwave/fridge cabinet. No other drawers for clothing, personal effects, toilet articles in the bedroom or bath. The lighting is minimal, not enough to read in bed. The nightstands have USB ports, but the desk does not. We were told housekeeping would clean the room on our 3rd day (of a 4-night stay) but on the other days, no one visited to pull the trash, refresh the coffee station, replace drinking glasses, etc. We cancelled the cleaning on Day 3 since we were leaving on Day 4. On Day 2, I asked for fresh towels and they brought them to the room. Very necessary because the bathroom has only one towel rod and no exhaust fan. We ended up spreading damp towels throughout the room so they would dry while we were gone during the day. It's a nice place and we might stay here again but would compare to other options; there are many within a block or two.
