DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Airport, MN

Exceptional

The staff was great. Very happy with the shuttle to and from the airport. The facility was disorientingly large.

Very good

Staff was not helpful at all. Asked for a room not too far from elevator and was out as far as possible. Last room in the corner of hotel. Could not have been farther away as on the top floor as well.

Cleanliness left something to be desired and there were several things that did not work properly. Not enough characters to list all.

Exceptional

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door and checked-in very promptly. The lone bartender/server was outstanding despite being completely overwhelmed because he had no help serving food and drinks to an entire restaurant, partially occupied by an convention group living it up in the bar for hours on end. The management of this hotel is clearly outclassed by their actual staff...as mentioned above, they had no business leaving a single server to tend bar and restaurant on the last night of a convention in the hotel. Toward the end of the evening, a security worker was called on (or maybe self-diagnosed the problem at hand) to help clean the mass of used glassware and dishes that had piled up, still in uniform, which simply left the impression that management was incapable of handling things appropriately. The managers, themselves, should have been doing exactly what that diligent worker was doing, only much earlier in the evening when it was most needed. Another detail that was frustrating is that the coffee maker was tucked-away in a cabinet and difficult to see. That led me to buy coffee at a shop in the lobby which I would otherwise avoid.

Good price, very clean & close to destination Staff was very friendly

Good

Room was clean bathroom shower was not

I absolutely love staying here prior to flights. The shuttle is wonderful and parking is convenient.

The location was perfect for hiking and going to the Mall of America. The warm, fresh cookies were an unexpected tasty treat when we arrived.

The room was good. The TV did not work with the remote and had no volume. The exterior door closest to our room did not open withhte key card. It is a large property, and getting to the room from the main lobby was quite a hike

I absolutely would stay at the Doubletree again. Front desk staff was amazing and helpful. Beautiful room, comfortable bed. ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH fitness center at the hotel as well.

Close to what we’re doing The hotel was not what I expect. Bathrooms two small and old with rust around drain.

Great location, price and friendly staff. Some part under construction

The layout of the hotel was bizarre. Long, long hallways with poor signage which made moving through the hotel difficult.

Everything good except the elevator’s broken

staff was excellent. great stay. highly recommend

The convenience to the airport
