Our suite was beautiful, spacious, and cozy. There was plenty of parking which can be tricky in Blowing Rock, especially on holiday weekends. It's close to everything downtown and walkable, though the walk may be difficult for some. Downtown is up the hill from The Manor. Check if your room has a Keurig and plan accordingly, because coffee wasn't available in the lobby when I checked. Maybe because it was the weekend. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and I highly recommend The Manor.

The rooms were very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The cow hide chairs though were very slippery and we carried in a chair from the reception area to sit on. The little magnifying mirror would be better replaced by an illuminated one on the wall by the sink.

Clean, linens, creekside outdoor chairs, indoor parking, muffin/scone on arrival. Secure entry from parking garages. Some foot noise from the room above, no vending machine.

Great accommodations, with a separate living room, and good mufffins and fruit for breakfast.

Blowing Rock Manor was a lovely place to stay. Our room was so pretty & spacious. The grounds were landscaped beautifully & the river with Adirondack chairs was very tranquil. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Overall a very good experience. Welcoming owner/staff, clean spacious room, beautiful grounds. A bit of a walk to town but worth it. We will stay there again

Size of room was great, loved the decor of the whole place. Pleasantly surprised with the breakfast food items provided and being able to take home 2 souvenir wine glasses. There was a wet bar with a Keurig coffee maker and bottled water. A few k cups were provided. Ceiling in bathroom needed to be painted around exhaust fan, not sure if it was mildew or something else but did not look good. Top of headboard was very dusty. Wish they provided different types of k cups, like decaf coffee or teas.

Just a very pleasant surprise on many levels. This is a smaller hotel that is newer, yet retains its charm as a unique, mountain type escape. Staff is extremely helpful. Be aware that because this is not a chain, staff hours are not 24/7, so it is worth confirming your arrival time with the hotel directly a day or two in advance to ensure someone is there to greet you and get you checked in. We loved the location, the room size, the quality of everything and the price (not the cheapest, but an incredible value). The place feels secluded, yet is walking distance from great restaurants and less than a mile from the downtown blowing rock shops. Very walkable. We will definitely stay here again!

Great staff, nice rooms. Would be better if they had a restaurant and room service.

The man in guest services was excellent - attentive, helpful, and responded to each of my requests with efficiency and warmth. The suite was clean and well appointed. The grounds were well landscaped and peaceful. The decor was comfortable and attractive. There was a small bag of complimentary bath salts for the beautiful tub, as well as two complimentary wine glasses. I was able to get a great rate midweek for a last minute retreat. I will definitely be back, hopefully with my husband next time.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff made sure to leave a number for me to call since we arrived late. He gave us easy instructions to enter the manor and our room. Quiet, clean and nicely decorated.

Friendly greeting upon arrival along with Complimentary baked goods and fruit made for a good start. Room was comfortable, clean and nicely appointed. Location is excellent for walking thru town, visiting The Blowing Rock and Boone.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. There are Adirondack chairs behind the property to sit, and enjoy the brook. It was so peaceful. Downtown was in walking distance. There are several restaurants nearby.

However, we paid $275 for one night and it seemed like way too much for what we got. There is no restaurant, so no breakfast. All staff left by 6 pm. It seemed rather desolate. Though it couldn’t have been cleaner and it seemed to be newly renovated. We had a junior suite with a sleeper sofa. However, the room it was in was so small that we had to move furniture to open it up completely. See above

Location is great, the place was nice and clean. Easy to check-in and out.

No there isn’t a pool, bar or food. But I knew this beforehand. Only negative thing I noticed, which isn’t that negative was the shower head location. It would be more practical if was moved to other side of shower. Having the opening of the shower with no door and the shower head in same location causes the water to spill and splash out. But it was an amazing shower either way 😁
