La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Boise Airport

Its waa a nice place to stay

We liked the breakfast and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. We didn’t dislike anything in particular.

About three weeks ago, we stayed at the same hotel chain in Twin Falls and the pet fee was $25. At the Boise location, it was $50. Different owners, different policies—I can accept that. The real problem started when we walked into our room. We were immediately hit with a horrible odor. The room smelled like a soaking wet dog, and it was so bad we were gagging. I went to the front desk, and the employee came back to the room with me. He agreed the smell was awful and moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the only room available had one king bed and a pull-out couch instead of the two queen beds we had reserved. After moving all of our luggage, we found the pull-out mattress was heavily stained, with no sheets or blankets. The bathroom had mildew or mold in the shower and around the sink. Before checking out, my nephew lost his PopSocket, so we were on our hands and knees looking for it. That's when we discovered trash, food crumbs, and dirt under the desk, heater, and other furniture. It was obvious those areas hadn't been cleaned in a long time. For more than $200 a night, I expected a clean room. Instead, the entire experience left me feeling dirty. Our stay at the Twin Falls location was fine, but this Boise location was a huge disappointment. We won't be staying here again.

My room was next to the fitness room and the door slammed when closing starting early in the morning.

The housekeeper manager checked us in, she need to be promoted to front desk, she was Awesome, so polite with our grandkids, I would go there again

I was provided a room that could not be secured. The clerk refused to provide me with another room and would not allow me to speak to the on duty manager. He quickly disabled my key card so I could mot return to room to take a picture. Do not recommend unhelpful staff and management.

Hot tub had jets turned off and had discolored water. Need to clean

Better do some upgrades in room 121. It smelled like stale moldy locker room when I walked in.

We loved the pool and breakfast.

Great location for our stay. Easy check in and check out and clean rooms.

Staff is mostly friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent for a hotel breakfast. Hot tub was green and gross. But pool was decent

What you would expect nice staff

We choose this due to location and also previous stay at the La Quinta inn by Wyndham but this was a disappointment. The room had paint every where still from being redone, the bed was lumpy as hell and room had been downgraded when we got there. The front desk guy was not very informative on where anything was and sadly was more interested in the computer in the back. Also the police showed up for a domestic situation so that was interesting. Breakfast was ok and I don't think I would stay again.

I had a very wonderful stay! The beds were comfortable. The room got good and cold like I like it. I know this sounds crazy based on my last statement but I could have used another blanket lol. I am used to sleeping with a weighted blanket though. All the employees were very nice and very helpful. They did have a small breakfast. Eggs ,sausage, toast, muffins, and waffles. This was only 3 miles from my venue that I was visiting. Even DoorDash and Walmart delivered directly to my room. I am very pleased with my stay. One thing though if you want your room cleaned you have to get on the list at the front desk. However, when I asked for clean towels they always gave me some. It was just me so I didn’t need my room cleaned as I was only there 5 days.

Beware of the pet fee. Expedia states the fee is $25 but the property charges $50. They state that they tried to get Expedia to change it but they won’t. I complained very firmly and they finally refunded the extra $25 but not willingly. The staff was not nice about it but the Asst Mgr the next day was a little nicer. The beds were not comfortable at all. The breakfast had ok options. I won’t be staying at a Wyndham again.
