Clean room. Very comfortable. We got a free upgrade and our room was ready ahead of time. Employees were all very kind. Being in North End was a plus as well very quiet and right on the ocean

Loved the location, beautiful property, loved the access to the spa, loved the housekeeping/do not disturb button. Would have liked a refrigerator in the room and a guide to the ice machine.

A perfect spot to visit the North End, historical sites, and great dining. Nestled away from the crowded streets and sidewalks but so close to the waterfront and all it has to offer. Service is great. The restaurant on site and casual bar are special features. Rooms are spotless and roomy. All considered, a number 1 hotel to rest, relax, and roam around Boston.

No refrigerator in room? Only available upon request…strange.

Beautifully placed and classy.

I think we had the worst or next to worst room in the hotel. I am beginning to think that booking through Expedia is a guarantee of a bad room location. Ours was right over the entrance, with people coming and going at all hours and the valets talking loudly enough to be heard in our room. Our view was of the building across the driveway. The wallpaper in the bathroom was starting to peel off. The ice machine on our floor was broken and never attended to during the 5 days of our stay. Our key would not let us go to the third floor (or any others) to get ice, so we had to go to the lobby and ask at reception to have our ice bucket filled. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning when only a very sparse buffet was available that cost $100 for the two of us. All of the people we dealt with were friendly and tried to be helpful. It was expensive, as everything in Boston is, but without a bay view, it was too expensive. If you want to walk to someplace for dinner, because you are in the Italian neighborhood and on the water, your choices are Italian dishes or seafood. The hotel wasn't awful, but I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

As soon as I noticed the mistake, I immediately contacted Expedia customer service before checking in and requested that the reservation be corrected. Expedia promptly reached out to the hotel by email, asking if they could waive the charges for the extra night since it was an honest booking error and I had requested the change before my stay. When I checked in, I also explained the situation to the hotel receptionist, who told me it should not be a problem and that Expedia simply needed to email the hotel, which they did. However, the hotel ultimately declined the request and refused to waive the additional night's charge. As a result, despite making every effort to correct the mistake immediately and only staying for one night, I was still charged for the second night, resulting in an unnecessary additional expense of approximately $300.

The location was perfect for getting around. We walked to our show at the TD Garden and loved the restaurants in the North End.

Fabulous location, attentive staff, big rooms, fab access to the Italian North End.

The hotel is beautiful, set along the waterfront and harbor walk. Valet parking for a very reasonable price . Every staff member we interacted with was courteous and Professional and happy. We stayed in the king suite building 4 and we were delighted with the room. We had a little trouble finding the ice machine, but a quick call to the front desk and we were informed. Can’t wait to stay again! Hotel restaurant looks beautiful and we overheard people raving about it.

Wonderful place for visiting Northend

I liked how it was right on the harbor. We were able to take a water taxi from the airport to the hotel. The front desk when I texted them got right back to me. The location was near a lot of things.
