Love locations, staff was good.

The room was spacious and nice. I liked having two doors leading into the bathroom. I did not like that we just had 3 pillows on a king bed as opposed to 4. The fridge was an old mini bar that would record if you removed an item. Therefore nothing fit in there without rolling out and it was not very cold. Therefore nothing fit. The lady who checked us in was a little bit rude and unhelpful but the rest of the staff was great. I did not like how the coffee machine in the lobby was $6 a cup and was actually out of a milk option when we tried to get a cup.

Good location Facilities were not as clean as could be. No body wash, shampoo or hand wash.

The bicycles were the highlight of my trip! The price/value was poor. For $400 a night. The service should have been much better. There was no hand soap in the room and three contacts with the front desk were needed to get a bar of soap in the room. There was no cleaning service between the two nights of the stay and no towel change at all.

Great location! Walking distance to many sights, close to the harbor, and nice property. Staff was helpful, and a quick Lyft ride to the airport!

Absolutely love the location of this hotel. When I first checked in, they did not have a room for me that I have already reserved. They were able to find me a room. Upon arrival in the room, the refrigerator was broken. Went back down to the desk and showed them a picture of the broken refrigerator. They accommodated me and upgraded to a suite. The suite is very spacious. The room was not fully cleaned for I found dirty towels and white stuff going down the bathroom door. Also the shampoo and body soap containers were empty. Asked for linens for the pullout sofa and all I received was two sheets. I would love to stay at this hotel again to give it a second try. Housekeeping definitely needs to be more thorough. Front desk staff was extremely helpful.

Location was great. Room was great Private party in bar (only one bar) meant we had to vacate. Way too loud.

Ac was portable with hose hanging out window; plastic window holding it in fell in. Room was hot. Toilet kept running.

Room was noisy

There was a wonderful receptionist, Shanti, who assisted us on check in. She went much more than the extra mile to arrange a room that we were happy with. It was wonderful! We were so blown away by her kindness, efficiency and professionalism. What a credit to the hotel she is! Liked everything

Location was great. Easy walking distance to so many places. It’s a little dated. Wallpaper is peeling in places in both the hallways and the room.

Upon check and I was advised that I would need to pay an additional $30 per night for what they’re calling a destination fee. It describes the reason for this fee as the location of the hotel. What rubbish. This fee was not advertised in advance so this is simply taking advantage of travelers when they check in. Not a good look. Overall, I would advise anyone to steer clear of the Bostonian.

We enjoyed the balconies and being able to see Quincy market. The location was perfect. I misread, and we thought there was a pool. Also know parking garage for the hotel, but we did find one very close within walking distance.

Sorry to be giving this review, but the only thing good about the property is the location. Thank you to the staff who upgraded our room, but with the roof being worked on in the morning, refrigerator not working, and our bathroom had a bad urine smell, we won’t be staying here again.

Hotel was in a good location for Northside and various markets. However, the hotel was a bit tired for boutique hotel.
