Central location. Breakfast good but expensive . Room was spacious. Staff could have been a little more welcoming

We had an issue with the shower. The spray from the shower leaks into the bathroom which meant that when I stepped out the shower there was a big puddle on the floor, we had to use all the towels to mop and it was dangerous if you slipped getting out of the shower as down a step. We reported it to front desk who offered to send a man to fix but it couldn’t be fixed as it’s just design and needed a flannel to be placed internally so the water doesn’t leak. The other issue was the air conditioning was very noisy and prevented me sleeping at night. I tried to turn it off without success. No coffee/tea or kettle in room. Extra charge to hire is unacceptable in premium hotels.

It was the perfect location for our very short visit!

The location was superior. Everything we wanted to see was a short walk. Parking was easy and as the parking staff was helpful. The lobby is pretty, the restaurant bartenders were very nice and the drinks good. View was great. I’ve had much better pillows though at cheaper chain hotels. The front desk staff was not that friendly or helpful. Besides the high price you are charged, an additional location fee is charged which covers concierge (not), fitness (closed), coffee (told to go to Dunkin Donuts if want coffee before 7 am), housekeeping and maintenance terrible. Someone else’s sock left on floor, no shower soap, no wash cloths, only two coat hangers, and took multiple requests. Never got coat hangers, they brought us body lotion instead of body wash. The next day they brought more towels but didn’t make the bed or pick up the wet towels on the floor. The shower was nice but leaks all over tile floor no matter what we tried and the wall had water damage. In the hall, a corner piece was in the floor when we left in the morning and still not fixed when we returned, Refrigerators available upon request, so you had small refrigerators outside guest doors in the hall. I guess maintenance drops them off and either the guest or housekeeper is supposed to set them up? Very unattractive. I would stay again because of the location but I would not recommend it to friends without warning them the quality is not what you would expect and only paying for the location.

Loved the location, and the room was spacious though a long walk to the elevator. Restaurant was very expensive.

I have always wanted to stay at this hotel growing up. We booked a last minute overnight and could not have been more pleased. The hotel is beautiful and spotless. The staff was so friendly and welcoming! And very helpful. We plan on making it a yearly tradition. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Perfect location. Doormen/bellhop very helpful and friendly. I've stayed here several times and my rooms were always great. This time I was in the back older section. Room was dated and in need of an upgrade (plus I was looking at a brick wall about two feet from my window). I would stay again but make sure I was in a front, newer room.

The location was fantastic! The front desk staff were super! We could not get clean towels. One day it took from about 3pm until 10pm to get towels. We were 2 to the room and we only got 2 washcloths over 3 days.

The room was in good condition. But my socks were not after walking across the room a few times

The valet was the most helpful. When the cab never showed up and we were at risk of missing our train he arranged a ride with the hotel staff and his personal car. That is so above and beyond excellent service. The room and bed was comfortable. Housekeeping staff were very helpful and kept the room nicely clean and comfortable.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The hotel is dated and needs updating. The bed was really soft and hurt my back. I did the valet parking but should have parked in the garage across the road. I will try another hotel next time.

Location was great for our visit Gym equipment didn't work. Beds could be more comfortable, including nicer pillows.

The concierge desk staff was very accommodating. The hotel was great.

Exceptional

It is a fantastic location for airport, Faneuil Hall and on the hop on/ hop off route. The interior rooms have alley views.
