I was quite upset and asked for an upgrade, and the amazingly wonderful Taylor could not have been more accommodating and attentive! I was upgraded to a king suite ($70 extra per night) on the top floor which was of course immaculate, had new finishes, and was very lovely and deluxe. I was so happy with my stay after this. The bellman Joe was also lovely, as well as the concierge Joe who had his wonderful black labrador dog Dori as the official greeter in the lobby! My trip turned out wonderfully after this. Also the Oak Long Bar, their official restaurant, was fantastic!

Beautiful historic hotel with excellent services and staff!

Staff was nice.

Front desk was definitely horrible. Gave us a double bed instead of a queen size bed. Paid a lot for the room . Definitely not going back .

Our whole overall experience was amazing. Will be staying here again the near future.

Hotel is well located. Staff is nice but property is old. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very good.

The hotel was beautiful and in a great area close to dining and tourist areas. Easy to get on the hop on/off buses. I wish there was a pool and water bottle fillers but we were given plenty of water upon arrival.

Will be staying here again. 5 stars all around!

I love fairmont hotels and this one is also great! And as a dog lover I adore that they have canine ambassadors! The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a great location!

Very disappointing stay for a 4.5-star hotel. At check-in, we were told we had been “upgraded” to a lounge-level room with a great view—except there was no lounge access, and the “view” was the back of a dirty building with AC condensers. The room was ridiculously small; two people could barely fit with two suitcases. To make matters worse, the closet ceiling was falling apart with exposed electrical wires. We also had a hotel credit included in our reservation, which was never properly explained, and staff refused to apply it at checkout. Overall, the hotel felt dirty, outdated, and absolutely not worth the price. Would not stay here again.

Great rooms, friendly staff, great location, will come again.

Great location. Fridge in room. Fitness centre. Lovely staff. Very welcoming. Able to extend check out with no charge. Very expensive. Decor a bit tired and dated. Lifts took ages.
-
Good workout facilities Could work on paper thin walls (you can hear everything. Next door) And strange odors These are issues with buildings built in 1912 Very good location

My family and I stayed here for 1 night. The front desk who checked us in was super nice and helpful. She offered to upgrade our rooms for free because I told her my family is visiting me from another country. The gentleman who helped us with our baggage was also super nice. Overall, we loved our experience here at the Fairmont, the only not so great part was the lady who checked us out. She was nice when helping me checking out, but later when I went back to her asking some questions while waiting for my car, her attitude flipped, careless and kind annoyed… Would really appreciate the staff stay consistency with how they treat the guests before and after staying at the hotel because you never know if they’ll come back next time.
