Stunning building. Smaller rooms but as it’s a historic building that is always the case. Loved the resident dog.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The room was very comfortable. Great location, and always a great hotel

There was no hairdryer in the room and we called twice but no one brought in one. Parking is not easy but the bellmen were helpful. The front desk staff were nice.

Expecting a decent “deluxe” room as advertised & expensive rates for one night +$1000. Had an interior first floor room - window views and associated views of massive A/C units. All hopes of romantic getaway dashed, stay away from room 177. Manager offered $200 voucher to spend on food on their premises - not helpful for a one night stay. Always check with this hotel where your room is. Dog in lobby is great!

Great hotel

Check in was pleasant and efficient. We got a room upgrade which was lovely. Location of the hotel and original features of the hotel are perfect. The hotel looked somewhat tired, the carpet in the room was old, used. There was a musty smell in the room. Lighting was bad. The furniture looked old. The bathroom was extremely small for a king size bedroom and there was nowhere to place a vanity bag. Overall the hotel needs an update. It doesn’t need a change in style as the old grand hotel style with original features is quite beautiful and rare nowadays however it is just very tired looking. Service in the restaurant was slow and inattentive.

The staff, everybody, from the cleaning service to the front desk to the staff in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is very well located. As with older hotels, the restroom is somewhat small when compared to more modern hotels however, overall I recommend staying at the Fairmont Copley in Boston.

The hotel room and the public space need upgrades. The hotel charges us an unexpected extra $35 per night upon check-in and gave us a $45 credit for the restaurant. The hotel staff was cordial but not warm. At the same rate, I had a better stay at the Mandarin Oriental and would recommend that.

The Oak Long Bar & Kitchen has a fun and elegant vibe with delicious food! We would stay at the Fairmont Copley over any other luxury hotels in Boston!
