The Lenox Hotel Boston

Staff was amazing. Location was perfect.

Great location in Back Bay and very friendly and helpful staff. Very service-oriented. Willow & Ivy restaurant in the hotel was outstanding as well.

Considering how much I paid for the room, I expected a hotel of this level to have much better maintenance and room standards. This was definitely not the experience I expected from a hotel in this price range. What made the situation even more disappointing was the way it was handled the next morning. I explained the issue to the front desk, and although the staff member apologized, she did not offer any compensation, credit, or adjustment to the bill after we had spent the entire night unable to sleep. For the price and reputation of this hotel, I expected much better service and a much better response to such a significant problem. Very disappointing experience.

Staff was super helpful from check in to check out, and, everywhere in between. Was there for a short trip and it was a seamless stay. Friendly and helpful staff and a great bunch behind the bar!

Weird things about this hotel: the lobby is dark, weirdly dark and dreary. Are they trying to creat atmosphere? It's not clear, but it's pretty difficult to make the tea and figure out which is the skimmed milk the lights are so low which makes it very unwelcoming. And the toilet in my room was positioned right up against the wall so you basically couldn't sit straight on it. Again weird. And the shower kept changing temperatures which is kind of annoying. But the restaurant was good, very good indeed (both for breakfast and dinner). And the location is great - very central.

Sadly we were stuck in the tiny room at the end of the hall that I would guess is a converted storage room. It was tiny. Bathroom was a joke. Toilet stuck facing a wall so you (really) had to sit sideways on it if you're an adult. Bed was very hard and could not get a good night's sleep (wife nor I). No in-room coffee either. That's a first for me. But it was the room itself that sucked.

Expected good service - and we got it.!

We loved the location of this beautiful hotel. The restaurant and bar were great as well as Sweeney’s Pub. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Boston.

Great old hotel, great location, awesome staff. Don’t know why bar soap has gone the way of the dinosaurs, even at luxury hotels. I mean, I get that the giant squirt bottles of product save the hotel $$$, but how much does a tiny Crabtree & Evelyn bar of soap cost?

Beautiful and comfortable. Fantastic location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious.

Nice breakfast in Hotels restaurant, enjoyed the Irish bar. Staff were very helpful when flight was cancelled and allowed me to extend my stay a few hours. Would stay again

4 starts for cleanliness only because there was some type of marks on the bathroom wall this second time and I notice this kind of thing. Most people might not have even noticed. 5+ starts for everything else.

Great pkace, beautiful hote, great for a a Sox game

Very clean, safe and centrally located. We had children with us and they were doted on. Which is nice sometimes hotels aren’t so accommodating to kids. But they made them feel special. Every staff member we spoke to was kind, and incredibly helpful. We will stay there again when in Boston.
