The room I had was a bit less then what I wold expect from a Westin propety. My room had one table with one chair. Scant.

Excellent hotel, great location and...

Fantastic location, close to Trinity Church and right beside Boston Library. Beautiful view from our room, club lounge a great facility. Staff all professional, attentive, approachable and polite. Very clean and spacious room. Beds super comfortable, we all had a great sleep each night. Despite being so central, it was quiet at night on the 20th floor. We must have gotten an older, outdated room which only had a bath/shower combo which must have seen the 90s, with a shower curtain which we overall find very unhygienic and did not realise hotels still use. The bed linens were frayed and ripped in places, they must have been used for years. However, all very clean and well laundered. I cannot fault the housekeeping. I just wish we’d requested a real shower to make our stay more comfortable.

Excellent Location, friendly manager Despite the fact that I visit this hotel often, I think this will be the last time. The services were unacceptable, and the room was old and not particularly nice. There was no courtesy anywhere. Too many employees in this hotel, they did not speak English well and communication with them was difficult. The employees in the parking lot were unacceptable. I had to wait a full 25 minutes for my car to be brought to me, while other cars that had applied much later than me came much faster. The reason was obvious: the employees needed money to do their job quickly. When I complained to the hotel manager, everything fell into place, since he was forced by my intense complaints to go down to the entrance and investigate the matter. I thank him very much, he was the only polite and available to serve. Also, it is very rare and difficult for the reception to answer and especially the dine in service. One night, after calling the reception and dine in service for more 45 minutes, and no one answered, I was forced to go downstairs myself to order food in the room... This has never happened to me before, in any hotel in the entire world!! Not polite employees, no one smiling to the customers. Uncomfortable beds, which had become hollow from too much use, causing you to wake up with back pain This hotel needs a lot of work.

Great hotel in a great location. Felt safe in the area and walkable to many things. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel was very quiet. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was very nice, along with the room which had a great view. The staff was friendly. We reserved two rooms, and one of the reasons we chose this hotel, is that it mentioned "interconnecting rooms" on the booking.com website. That's a big reason why we chose it, and reserved far in advance. I wrote with this special request, that we were traveling as a family, and really wanted interconnecting rooms. Someone replied that they understood and would do their best to accommodate this request. When we got there, the hotel could only find ONE room, which was extremely stressful in the moment. They insisted they only had one room reserved, even though everything was confirmed and the hotel even wrote back to me about the special request. Eventually, we were able to get help and someone found the second room. They said this was a booking.com issue, as my name was listed in two different ways on the reservation. Needless to say, it was very stressful thinking we were not going to have the other room, but they finally found the reservation. But, they were not interconnecting rooms. While this appears to have been a booking.com error as far as how my name was listed, I did get the confirmation from the hotel with my request, so I don't understand how they weren't aware we wanted interconnecting rooms and were not trying to plan for that ahead of time. The rest of the stay was great, though, but hopefully changes can be made so that others do not have this issue.

The breakfast has been revamped over the years and during this recent visit, I felt like I would gain 10 pounds fro. The amount of food I ate. They have added new dishes and drinks to complement the tried and true staples and they are delicious. They also vary the foods daily so breakfast is never boring. I do on occasion eat dinner there and it is very good, but I love to go out to try different restaurants. After you have eaten all this great food, there is a great gym to work off the calories. There is a good variety of exercise equipment and the space is never crowded. This is what makes a hotel:great service, great staff, great food, the proximity to transportation, points of interest and the best views from the rooms. I am willing to guarantee you will never regret your stay at the Westin.

We have stayed at the Westin a number of times . It's consistently a great experience. Clean room , spacious , great staff , great restaurants on property and excellent access to Copley and The Pru for retail and dining and totally walkable to the rest of Back Bay . Another plus the orange and green lines are very close by as well Easy to get to the Sox game or just about anywhere else .
