Courtyard by Marriott Rapid City

I really wanted to like this place It looked modern and fairly new but the beds were hard. The air conditioner sounded like a plane taking off. The shower was pretty but it makes an annoying loud pinging sound dripping on the drain plate that drives you nuts while you're taking a shower. I don't understand why hotels don't concentrate on comfortable beds. That is the main reason people are staying there.

Clean room, comfortable beds, friendly staff

Hard to find amidst other hotels with poor signage and one overcrowded parking lot. Also we traversed upstairs with all our luggage with no instruction from the check in desk about parking, only to find a parking decal in our packet which had to be put in our car window. Mind you it was late at night, we'd been on the road for 12 hours, and we were not wanting to go all the way back down to the lobby and way out into the parking lot once we made it to our room. A little communication maybe?

Hotel starting to show age (peeling wallpaper) but room was very clean & quiet even though it was right next to street. Staff ok-much nicer checking out than checking in.

Only stayed 1 night, but all was great.

By a wide margin the nicest Courtyard hotel I’ve ever encountered - and I’ve encountered scores of them.

It was convenient and clean. It looked well maintained.

Exceptional

I would give the hotel 5 stars because of how clean it is, how friendly the staff was and its location, but we had to pay a parking fee for the parking lot, I've never had to do that before, the water pressure was horrible, I never did get all the conditioner out of my hair, and it was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've slept on in a hotel in 20 years.

The property was great The bed was horrible, they need to replace it . Couldn’t sleep well back and shoulders was hurting due to bed !

We had trouble getting our sheets changed but we did enjoy the open concept lobby.

I would of given excellent but the prices at your Bistro were way too high example $9.50 for a bowl of steel oats and a few blueberries
